Empirically, the roster is not perfect.

But they have a plan and have direction.
Nothing against them or how they are ran. They may win a ring this year. I just don’t see all of this talent they have. Like if I’m looking at rosters I think I’d rather have the Browns roster or the Chargers.

What's it going to be then, eh?

in Garrett’s OC and HC career he has some of the most talented offensives Dallas has ever had and none of them could go past the divisional round... 2007 2014 2016 were all good enough to be in the SB in their respective years...
Shhhh....

Talent on paper is nothing unless the coaching staff can maximize it.

You're basing roster strength off of head to head divisional results from the prior year? Yikes. "Even after Dallas had a terrible start to the season"... the Eagles had a worse start to the season... lol

1. We beat them by one score each game despite them having way worse injury woes than us, and they are getting those players back
2. They acquired wayyy more talent in the draft than we did
3. They acquired more talent in free agency than we did
4. They only had one less win than us last year despite having a 1st place schedule

Just to name a few
Philly fans. Gotta hate em.

It is not really bashing when it is simply asking a question.

And this goes out to his most ardent defenders.

Grade him on his game day ability.

Now look, we are not talking about rallying the troops.

Game day. Preparation. Being prepared. Momentum, understanding it in-game.

I have said it before, the guy can do damage control and crisis response.
Who are you kidding? You bash every single thing the Cowboys do. Every player, every coach, every transaction. You’re an embarrassment and you have not credibility here because of it.

Great. He is super about getting game plans together that get blown up as the game progresses.

I guess you did not pay attention as it was not just about prep from the start.

I also asked about the ability to handle momentum.

I stated specifically. IN GAME.

You do realize a game is four quarters, right?

I think it is kind of sad that you thought that was the entire question. You picked one little bit that fit whatever it is you think you were talking about and failed to acknowledge the rest.

Sounds to me you are either closeted about Garrett or you have some other issues because you are quite passionate about it.

Don't care. I am sure you and "everyone" does though.

You asked many questions about Garrett

I tried to help you by answering a couple of those questions

You go off a tangent tyraid like a 12 year old girl because it wasnt what you wanted to hear

You looked like an *** in th process and here we are

I think it's pretty hard to rank teams by talent. If you look around the league I think you'll see some pretty good rosters. There probably isn't a huge talent gap between #1 and #32. Maybe Dolphins and Cardinals. But even the Cardinals might have a decent D this year.

All 32 teams might have good rosters. There's still going to be a team ranked #1, and another team is going to be ranked #32. It's not what you have. It's what you do with what you have.

I'm shocked he didn't have the LA Chargers on that list, they are loaded as well.

Either dementia is starting to kick in for Gil Brandt, or he's seriously trying not to sound biased for the Cowboys. He lists 5 key talented players in defense for the Eagles as his #1 most talented NFL team, while he names 12 key talented players for the Cowboys while rating them the 2nd most talented team in the NFL. 5 (Eagles) vs 12 (Cowboys) players? Seems like Gil also forgot to count. Cowboys easily outnumber the named Eagles players more than 2 to 1. Plus, the Cowboys swept the Eagles last year, won the NFC East Division and are the younger team of the two.

Sorry, Mr. Brandt, but the Cowboys easily should be your #1 most talented team in the NFL for 2019.

BTW, Gil is battling dementia if he truly believes this is the 2nd most talented roster in the league. That is laughable.

I think we’ve got a better roster than Philly, and that it’s among the best in the league. I’m glad someone as knowledgeable as Gil agrees.

It's amazing how they continue to teabag Wince constantly when he has accomplished abbsolutely nothing in this league.
I wouldn't say leading a team into the playoffs and being on the brink of the MVP of the league until he suffered a season-ending injury is accomplishing "absolutely nothing in this league."
However, I don't think Wentz is considered among the best quarterbacks in the league. Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, Mahomes, Wilson, Luck, Ryan and Rivers are still better than he is.
