Dak-Deniers/Fact Haters, What Will Dak Have to Do for You to Eat Crow?

I had to take the offseason off of this place because I'm a pragmatist: I go with what works.

Dak Prescott as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback works.

And the numbers prove it.

Numbers are facts, to me at least. Most stats can tell you something in the context of the team... Dak has the stats of a winner. He wins. He's proven that.

So, I get tired of arguing with people who think Dak's a loser — for whatever reason.

That facts are, almost every single statistic you point at proves he's not.

So, what would Dake have to do in 2019 for all of the Dak-hating, fact-denying quarterback know-it-alls to eat crow on Dak being a legit quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys?

I was Romo's first fan. I loved watching him play. But I'm happy to be moving forward with Dak.

Dak "lovers" started using Brady as a comparison his rookie season - don't cry that Brady is now the standard Dak is still being held to. Now that Dak's flaws are glaring, you folks want to knock him down to the point you compare him to middling QBs like Alex Smith.

Get the ball out faster in the red zone... convert 2/3rds at least half any way, of those field goals into TDs and we'll all be happy!

I'm a Dak supporter some would say but I think not just Dak but this team needs to do that and take that step forward. It's time to get out the divisional round, I think they will this season.

I support and believe in Dak. However your statement here is indicative of an underlying problem. Different people have different reasons for not believing in Dak. Your statement implies that they all have the same reason and insults them for having no character because of it. It is an underhanded tactic and unworthy of you. It adds nothing to the discourse other than unnecessary vitriol. Everyone here should strive to be better than that.

That's fair, but your comment as far as I saw was worded in a way that enveloped all people who didn't support Dak. I know it can be tiring when all someone does is complain, or that may be how it seems. I think many of those people were devoted fans that got so beaten down by the mistakes and misfortunes of this team since 96 that they expect failure more than success, yet still have an underlying love for the team. There are very few people that could be legitimately described as trolls here and those should be ignored rather than given the attention that they crave.

It's better to assume that other than fans of other teams who openly come here as fans of those teams that we're all Cowboys fans who love the team. Some might be more disillusioned than others but they're still fans.

That's fair, but your comment as far as I saw was worded in a way that enveloped all people who didn't support Dak. I know it can be tiring when all someone does is complain, or that may be how it seems. I think many of those people were devoted fans that got so beaten down by the mistakes and misfortunes of this team since 96 that they expect failure more than success, yet still have an underlying love for the team. We’re all frustrated with the lack of championship runs in the last 20+ years. But to crap on everything the team does is not the answer. As to the premise of the thread: Dak's doing his job in a team game. Is he perfect? No. Should he be? No. So the Cowboys winning the SB wouldn't even do it unless it was painfully obvious that Dak was the instrumental piece in that victory and even then some people would say he was a bus driver that was carried by the team. I do think some of the Dak "haters" would choose to eat crow if the Cowboys won the SB.

There are those that will never change their mind simply due to human nature. Once their mind is made up, they look for anything that proves their point and ignores evidence to the contrary. Everyone is guilty of this from time to time.
