As the article mentions, the WR corps is crowded with potential talent. Making the squad this season will be no walk at the park with 12 WRs competing for 6 spots. With Cooper, Cobb, Gallup, Wilson, Hurns having the inside track to make the team, that doesn't leave much opportunity for the others.
That's certainly one man's opinion.Cooper, Cobb and Gallup are only locks. Hopefully young speed can fill the rest of the position out.
I agreeI don't see Hurns making this team. He wouldn't be higher than the 4th WR and his contract is too high for that kind of player. He could be easily replaced by a younger guy with upside and a much smaller contract. It sucks he had that injury last year but apparently he is healthy now and can try and catch on with another team.
I agree
Love the kid but too expensive to be a 4th WR
Special teams is gonna be a factor in who makes the bottom of the roster since unless they can help on ST it’s gonna be hard to be active
His contract is already accounted for. His salary won’t be the reason why he gets cut. It will be his play on the field.I don't see Hurns making this team. Real i triqing guy.I admire the fact that Jon'Vea Johnson came to town and practiced 3 months in advance beforehand.
That's how good players become great ones. It'd be exciting to have a game changer at our disposal.
From the sound of things, he's also established a good rapport with Sanjay Lal and QB Dak Prescott.

I'm saying we are fine salary cap wise. At this point in the season.......letting him go for salary cap reasons means nothing. He only has one year left on his deal. As of right now he offers insurance in case Gallup or Cooper or even Cobb gets hurt since he can play all wide out spots. What does this mean?
he is an UDFA, has a long learning curve. will be able to use his speed from time to time to run deep routes...being an NFL WR is not easy and outside of some elite ones, its a 3 year journey before it clicks for most......but his ticket needs to be on special teams. he has to play great special teams and maybe run some of the jet sweeps and a few trick plays that Austin runs.....I admire the fact that Jon'Vea Johnson came to town and practiced 3 months in advance beforehand.
