I just LOL at a "Security Guard" that is so out of sorts over being in a "physical" confrontation- on the job.
What exactly was he expecting?
What if real shiznozz went down? Was he going to be the 1st guy running away?

"I didn't sign up for this ****! I'm just here to keep the gate counts!"

Plus I heard this security guard plays safety at a small college. Must make Jeff Heath look like Darren Woodson.

What amazes me is the people that hire them.. LOL, you cant tell when you interview them for the job..
You know...
I knew some real, fist-bearing muthas that used to secure bars on 6th St. in Austin, back in the late 90's-Early Milly that were ready for a cat like Zeke to brush them.
They'd secure him and make sure he's not going to be belligerent and, if he continues, or escalates - they commenced "disarming" him.

Seen it many times. Those guys were my friends (I liked to associate with peeps who could and would kick booty on my behalf).
This guy seems like... not one of those guys.
I wonder why he took the job, other than maybe he couldn't get any other?

zeke has been adjudicated to be innocent by the police and the nfl. ergo, the focus is exactly where it belongs. on the sissy guard.
Dumb. So if Zeke is considered guilty by the NFL but not the police does that make him guilty? What about if he is arrested by the police but not punished by the NFL?

Does the guard play for the Cowboys? Does his lawsuit effect Zeke being punished in the NFL? The answer is no and no. You should be more concerned with the punk RB on your team and his constant flirting with rules/law than the sissy guard.

You make excellent points, and I am concerned about Zeke constantly putting himself in stupid situations. I'm not absolving him of any blame.

But for the guard to come forward now (almost two months after the fact) and start crying looks like a petty cash grab at worst and a punk move at best. Wouldn't surprise me if he's a Cowboy hater trying to distract the team going into camp by not letting this incident go.

Lol, dang Corso, sure we didn’t know each other? I was on both sides of the law on 6th in the late 90’s. Arrested twice on 6th and once on 7th and Trinity. Also bounced off and on at several bars on 6th between 98-00 and worked security at Austin Music Hall and the original Back Yard. Filled in for a few buddies and my roommate at the Ho Palace on occasion as well.

Perhaps you understand my alleged “tough guy” mentality now.

Lol, c’mon man, a Cowboy hater trying to distract now? I just wish Zeke would have publicly apologized and I wouldn’t even be giving this kid the benefit of the doubt. At this point, Zeke is still the one who put himself in this situation as history doesn’t help me sympathize with him.

Public apologies are disingenuous. No need for that kind of theater.

Sometimes I miss being a bouncer.

You sure not... 5th and Trinity?

Wait... 7th and Trin... late 90's... Ohm? That had the wild... what was it? Body-piercing circus, or show, or something like that? Man... that was a minute ago.

Ohm?

He was judged to be innocent by both. Ergo your rant comes under the heading of blather. You take obtuse to an extreme in order to justify your stance. You are wrong both factually and legally.

He should have apologized as soon as he sobered up. That's about the only way he would have come of as genuine.
I think he said he did it right after. He did it drunk and said sorry drunk. More than he would have gotten from me that night..

Nah, happened about 2 am when the bars closed, quick circle formed, pepper spray, jail has nice knock off fritos. I was about as innocent as Zeke.

Again, it appears the kid's attorney (father) had him wait to file the complaint to possibly add the NFL's opinion and possible punishment to his case. Pure and simple money grab.

Have you noticed that most apologies from celebrities sound as if written by attorneys? That's because they are.
I prefer the notorious presidential speeches. Other than the Gettysburg Address...makes me wonder how many, if any, wrote their own speeches, was Kennedy banging his underage intern when “It’s not what your country can do...” was being written?
