News: Ezekiel Elliot is not worth the money he wants

actually he is just not 4 years after his 5th year, problem solved new deal now that 2 years higher paid that were left 2 more years after so 4 quality years hes FN earned ..after that sure use the RB will fade out and slow down..he wants it early because he knows the philosophy on using up RBs and then cutting them and he will never have the chance for his big pay day or a 3rd true contract.. why not tear it up now give him what he deserves over 6-7 total years and then maybe you find his replacement.. he snot injurys prone and has done his job production wise better then anyone else on this team for 3 straight years..

Elite RBs will all start doing this because they are being purposely used up and cut or traded..id b holding out as well..he deserves 14 minimum 3 years guaranteed right now..

Elliot is younger then the top 3 has two rushing titles plus led YPG in 17 even being suspended and last year the passing stats kicked in and hes durable and is top 1-3 so hes under paid now pay his now 14 per 4years that only 2 extra years and paying all 4 in him prime..theeres no risk..its a no brainer..yes put clauses that if you get suspended you lose bonus and lots of money..or void the contact if he gets in big hot water type suspension like lifetime ban type bs

All those relevant stats are garbage because he had the most yards in the league, not once but twice, and we all know that’s all that matters and is what makes him the best

Actually, rushing TDs is a much more valuable stat. In 2018, Zeke was 18th in that stat so he's not really the best.

So is yards after contact ,which Barkley blew Zeke away in, and even Gurley with his limited games and injuries beat him.

Along with most yards, he did lead the league in fumbles by an extremely wide margin so hats off to him for being the best in two categories. Pay him whatever he wants, he may need it for bail next time Jerrah doesn’t do his dirty work for him.

Tarik Cohen had 1 more fumble than Zeke last year so no he did not lead the NFL in fumbles by a RB. Yes he was 2nd but others were 1 fumble behind him at 5, so I am not even sure where this "extremely wide margin" comes in.

Also as far as fumbles lost, he had 1, which isn't even in the top 10 for running backs. But hey why let facts get in the way of a good rant, eh.

Well according to this he led the league and if you compare him next to the other top RB’s it’s not even close.

Whew! Thank goodness he only lost 1 fumble which is pure luck, I was worried for a second that he couldn’t hold on to the ball.

fits their narrative

I can hear it now...if Zeke slows down or gets hurt sooner than later, like most RB’s do, all the people that want to extend him, talk about how durable he is and rave about how he’s led the league in yards (but fail to mention how he’s also led the league in carries) will start crying that the Cowboys “wasted his career” and maybe even years down the road will finally acknowledge that extending him was a mistake.

Cue the violins.
