Why Morris instead of Murray?

Why not convince Murray to come back after 1 year off? That's the exact same as Witten and Frederick had off... even if it was only for 1 year until we can get another bell cow.

Didn't Murray officially retire?

Who knows, maybe they asked and he said no or he wanted too much money?

Murray didn't leave in the best of terms .

He went straight to philly .
That was strictly over money. He got his money from the Eagles and then some. They were literally paying him 8 figures to play for the Titans in 2016. And he had 1300 yards, 1600 from scrimmage not very long ago.

Those have always been the best of terms
Bad deal for us in that that signing may have been a key factor into Kelly's career in Philadelphia derailing. That whole offseason was just bad for you guys.

Kelly had his merits, but I don't think he had any clue how to assemble talent at the pro level. Personnel moves just seemed like jersey collecting

5 years 42mil sounds like a bargain right about now..lol

Would be in the last year of that deal now, but we most likely would have already drafted his successor as well.

In other words, we'd probably be set
