It has been two decades since actual defined success.

I have lived through both eras. So have you. So you have no excuse.

Can I ask what it is that makes you continue to be such a flaming homer?

More like you were spoiled.

I do like how you act like anyone has to make excuses as if you were in any position to enforce your outlook of fault/blame.

This searing critique commentary on the drafted player would be so much more effective had you actually spelled the guys name correctly. Not just the first name which is Connor, but his last name is McGovern.

As a side note, once he is dominating the guard position for this team, does his nickname become The Governor?
What do you expect from an iggles fan?

He is not nearly as boring as Eatman is. He also is far more active on social media from what I can see.
agree ...Eatman is a snooze fest pretty much. No energy and doesn't bring anything fresh to the table.

Another year another slow start for this offense. Next weeks wee season game should give us a better idea if we have actually gotten better offensively.

Gawd guys..its just a rag tag scrimmage..lol...its extremely early to jump ship. This is why we have camp. We are tinkering with pretty much everything offensively. KEEP THAT IN MIND. Also, keep in mind with changes on offense, comes some growing pains. Be patient.

Mike White has improved...
He sure has. He has more poise. I liked him from the start to be our back up. Rush may be cut or relegated to 3rd string. White can make every throw and has the resume to back it up.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I find this take amusing.

It is almost like that since I have lived through and seen what real success is in several generations, I need to modify my expectations so I can narrow it down to the sub-standard? I have also seen the garbage and the absolute dregs.

If that makes me "spoiled", fine.

Guilty as charged.

Label me all you want.

Golly, I wish I could be as eager as you and your type to just sit back and "appreciate the ride".

But then again, that would really require a lobotomy. So, no thanks.

Do you just come here to vent? I find it marveling.

No. I made an observation.

Fact is that Cowboys fans were spoiled by Landry and Johnson and act like winning a playoff game is not an achievement because it is not the SB. It is rife amongst older fans.

I find it amazing that anyone around here thinks they are in a position claim another's argument as an excuse. You do understand that for something/one to be excused they have to be blamed or at fault for something right?

In other words, he is the perfect Spagnola heir.
yup...getting him groomed for life after ole Mick. Jerry has them on a conveyor belt. lol...I don't think Spags and crew have had an original thought about the Cowboys in over 20 years. They been either willingly complicit in that, or are just milk toast.
