NE needs no help winning a super bowl least of all from this guy.

Recent reports is that Tom Brady’s favorite receiver in camp, is undrafted WR, Jakobi Meyers.

Im truly convinced, in Brady’s final season, they will sign five receivers from Home Depot, running backs from Wal mart and an entire defense from the the local grocery store. He still wins the super bowl

very late 7 round draft pick project, and he did not impede upon the development of Jarwin or Schutlz.
I still had no problem drafting him that late and taking a chance.

it looked intriguing and promising early in his rookie year, then got hit big with that serious concussion that practically wipe out his
that year but the work ethic and commitment was still much in question and so forth.

But the team tried to stayed with him, even gave him a sizeable bonus to stay on the practice squad after he was cut.
I don't think even in year 3, Rico ever showed the desired progress the coaches wanted to see.
I doubted he would have been in the plan for 2019 anyway. it was only a matter of time. I lost interest and intrigue in him by season's end.
He's an ex-basketball player with height- girth, and considerable a good ahtlere but he looked stiff and I wasn't impressed with his agility change of direction.

A 4th TE that was worth taking a look at as a late 7th round pick, but it's over, no harm done.

And this ladies and gentlemen is why you don't buy into all the training camp/pre-season hype every year.

OXNARD, Calif. - he Cowboys have apparently seen enough of the Rico Gathers experiment, deciding to cut the tight end on Monday here at training camp.

Gathers was entering his fourth camp with the team, and had seemingly improved every year, going from the practice squad in 2016-17 to the active roster last year in 2018, when he played 15 games, including four starts.

But here at camp, Gathers hadn’t made a big impact, and also suffered a minor ankle injury that kept him out a few days........

Well, I'm glad that we took him into camp at least. Had a little bit more time to see if he could make a huge jump in his play. Would have been a nice success story, but the percentages for him being able to go from having not played football much at all to succeeding in the NFL were always low, which is why Dallas took him late.

I hope they only go with 3, use that roster spot for an extra WR, DL, DB.

I think they have to this year. I'm having trouble cutting depth at those three spots in particular right now. I'm sure some of it will sort itself out, but good reports on players like Jelks, Olumba, Johnson/Guyton make the numbers tougher for the moment.

Well, that took three years too long.

It was obvious he couldn't play the first series he was here. Looked like he was on roller skates.

Yeah, right next to David Irving, right?
:lmao:

Like any of these coaches on this team can recognize talent...I do not know if Rico was an NFL talent...but I surely have no faith in JG and the teenage offensive coordinator knowing.

Even they know an idiot that doesn't care about football when they see one. But feel free to revisit yours and my posts "when the Patriots sign him".
