1. Dak has never been a scrub.
2. Witten has actually told coaches to “get this scrub off the field” during practice when players aren’t performing well.
3. There’s a big gap between avoiding criticism of a teammate to the media, and the detailed explanations on how Dak has improved that Witten gave. He easily could have avoided criticizing Dak without talking about the improvements that he has.
But it’s probably easier to just take the extreme position, call Dak a bum and call for him to be gotten rid of.
1. So what do you call Dak in those stretch of games in 2017 when he looked like the worst QB in the league?
2. All of this is irrelevant to this discussion. You are comparing a player in the heat of battle, high on emotions to a him being interviewed and having time to think about his answers. Show me an interview where a teammate openly says a player hasnt improved over the course of a year.
3. He is his teammate and that carries a bias. This is like Jerry or Stephen or even Will McClay being asked what changes they see in Dak.
Anyways, you completely missed the point. You sarcastically downplayed the media members grades of Dak’s play, but yet are here supporting Witten’s opinion. At the end of the day, they are all opinions. Just because Dak may have improved in those areas, doesnt mean he is having a stellar camp.
Here. A video of Jason Witten saying he thinks Dez can still play at a high level. Most if not all of Cz has told me Dez is washed up and was the fault of Daks poor sophomore season.
Now tell me that Jason Witten, calls it how he sees it all the time
