Still no spice. Soft. Soggy. He seems to have bust written all over him. He needs to step it up!!!!
Here is what Broaddus had to say about Taco after the game:
I liked what I noticed from Taco Charlton starting at right defensive end in this game. There were several snaps where his rush on Shon Coleman and Willie Beavers affected what was going on in the pocket. Charlton did a nice job of mixing up his rush. He was able to attack from the outside, which allowed him to set some things up to the inside. The way he was able to keep these 49ers tackles off balance was impressive.
I was very impressed when he caused offensive holding calls on consecutive plays Saturday night. There have positive reports from camp about him making plays also.

To be fair, Taco seems to be doing better after Marinelli had that "man to man" talk with him. The effort is there on a more consistent basis and he actually did some good things. The pressure he's getting seems more intense, which is always welcome. Whether he does well enough to outperform some of the younger guys remains to be seen, though. Armstrong, Hyder and Jackson are very likely to give him some stiff competition. That's always good to see!

How many sacks did Taco have in this game? I’m asking for a friend.

well according to those watching closely at practices, hes better , its starts at practice and hes starting to get what it takes the week prior to games to get the coaches to trust you more in games..his lack of effort always started in practice..look it takes some guys longer then others to figure out how to e professional and how to practice and prepare etc..they came from being BMOC and not doing much in college to being on the bench and trying to EARN playing time..

I think fans expecting every player picked high to just come in and start and take the nfl by storm are the ones who are disappointed by their own expectations.. hes learning maybe he finally gets it..

If Broaddus raves about him that’s the kiss of death.
So did he give Dak the kiss of Death too
  • I thought it was a good start for Dak Prescott. It would have been nice to punch his only drive in, but overall line one is to move the club and he did. He took advantage of some nice protection and his teammates stepped up to help him along the way. I thought his last pass that was tipped had a chance to be a touchdown to Blake Jarwin, especially where Jarwin was positioned in the end zone. Give some credit to Sheldon Day for getting his hand up to make the deflection.
