Nothing says championship like having 3 of your best players all playing for an organization they feel a disconnect with.Crawford is a big part of the defense.
Zeke still has two years on his rookie contract and then franchise options. He can't sit forever

Front load the money this year and lets go already. Get Cooper done too and then franchise Dak next year or if you give him the long term you could franchise Byron and move him for a 2nd round pick.
Keep improving, Pollard, and start making some noise this pre-season and start to the season while staying healthy.
Agreed, if you have to cut some guys or not pay some guys to make it work, Crawford is one of the guys I'm getting rid of. He's a good player I just don't think he's ever really fit our scheme properly.
I agree, Zeke should stop abusing his power!Nothing says championship like having 3 of your best players all playing for an organization they feel a disconnect with.
Just because you have the right to abuse your power doesn’t mean it’s what’s in the best interest of the team.
I doubt Zeke caught them by surprise. I’m sure Zekes side tried having these conversations before camp started.

Zeke is replaceable. There, I said it. It’s the most replaceable position in football, which is why it is being devalued. I’m sure the Rams thought they couldn’t replace Gurley last year too, then there was C.J. Anderson.
Pollard is going to excel behind this offensive line, just watch. If Zeke doesn’t report for week 1, he’s going to lose any negotiating leverage that he has once Pollard goes off for 150 yards rushing in his first career NFL game.
While I'm not disagreeing with you but at this point Crawford is somewhat needed still. Unless Taco/Armstrong step it up we are weak at DE until Quinn gets back from suspension and Lawrence is healthy. Haven't heard anything about Crawford being available week 1 as far as health is concern but it's also possible he gets suspended which then it's a moot point anyways. What part is that? Underachieving? Disappointment? Off field troubles? Injured and not practicing?
He was done a terrible disservice when they drafted him as a 3-4 defensive end and then switched back to the 4-3. He's been a round peg in a square hole ever since. To his credit, the man has done everything he could to do what was best for the team. He just isn't a good fit for this scheme.

His sacks must have came from inside then, could have swore I seen him get a sack on the outside though.I don't see it as "stepping it up" to have to replace a player who has given you zero sacks against starting offensive tackles from RDE for the past two years.
That's what Crawford has provided while playing the right defensive end position, zero.
Does anyone want to try to make the argument that zero sacks from your "starting" right defensive end is good for your defense?
Anyone?
