what was thought to be hard at the start of the PS has turned pretty easy as the games have shown who’s a player and who’s PS material.

Guys who have cut themselves:
White
JV Johnson
Weber
Hyatt

Guys who have made it tough for back end of roster:
Devin Smith
Justin Phillips
Gifford
Cedrick Wilson
Olumba
Joe Jackson
Hyder

Give it 2 more games and assuming most stay healthy that 53 will pretty much write itself.

I know the only 2 NFL backs on the team are Zeke and Pollard. With Olawale as the FB. They may keep Morris if Zeke doesn’t report but Weber is like Scarbrough last year. Nice flashy name given pedigree but not a factor.

If there’s a 3rd QB go find it from another team.

LBs will be interesting because if they only keep 6 a good player is going to be let go like maybe March Lillard.

DBs still not enough depth back behind the starters. Does Iloka know he’s allowed to be in on plays? I’ve seen him out there but he’s done nothing.

You forgot a big one...Maher. He must go. Dallas would be stupid to cut Hyder. He is a solid vet. I will add one more...Frazier. He can’t play S in the NFL. Zero cover skills.

Always expected Hyatt to be a practice squad player since he needs to work on his strength and footwork. but White, Johnson and Weber are also candidates for the Practice squad

Cedrick Wilson is on the team. He's not even a bubble guy, he's solidly on the team. That's my guy!

I liked Wilson in game one, too bad he did not play last night.
However, he has not shown anymore than what Devin Smith has shown at this point. All is based on fans perspectives.

But I have both on the team. Probably Wilson over Smith at this point, because he was a draft pick and has a longer contract I believe. Tie goes to that type of player.
But my bias says Smith since I am an OSU fan. :D

However, it may be more like, Wilson, Smith, Austin as the last 2 or 3 spots, depending what they do with Brown

Morris went down as soon as he was touched. I was very surprised. He is playing like he already made the team. Wonder if his money is fully guaranteed..

Probably only if he makes the initial 53 as a vested vet player. But someone may know what his contract is. I am sure if any guaranteed money, it is minimal.

I doubt they cut Hyatt and could see how they would want to give him time to develop. That being said, his footwork, hand skills and strength are lacking for the NFL level.

I agree with you, these guys are cutting themselves.

I just hope we don't lose a guy like Joe Jackson. That guy is disruptive.

Weber really got minimal chances to do anything. The blocking was bad.

I would not say Weber cut himself. He needs better opportunities with better players.
Morris looked awful last night, Weber is I front of him.
Agree.

Weber never got to see daylight on the inside.
- He had a nice bounce to the outside for a decent game.

Morris didn't see much daylight either but he looked old and slow.

No, he only has 90K guaranteed.

They like him as a leader for the young RBs.
- He has great knowledge of the type of running scheme the Cowboys use.

I'm not a big fan of using a roster spot for a veteran mentor to young players but without Zeke it's highly likely they retain a veteran.

I like jon vea Johnson's speed, route running, etc. unfortunately, he has to hold on to the ball. much like noah brown in that respect.
