I don’t, Zeke knows what the offer is. He could take off his diapers, put on his panties and tell his agent he’s taking the deal that was offered.
Honestly? He can keep the diapers on. I don't want to know what's escaping from his panties via olfactory sensation.

I am amazed at the posters that do not see the transparency of this. Why do you think the only player that would have a reason to give a team friendly deal was just done? So Booger could use that as ammo against the 3 players he can't get to budge, primarily his holdout player.

He used that to try and turn the fans in his favor and against those greedy players. The whole thing is a set up, a very transparent one including the press conference.

Let me ask you one question. Which players are supposed to give that team friendly deal? How about Lawrence? Oops too late, guess some other player will have to do that because Booger & Son can't negotiate any better. He gets his but they're not supposed to get theirs? Is that how that works? He uses his surgery as leverage but that's OK?

But some are cheering him on just like his fellow owners since he's heading up their side of the CBA and the first round has been fired, those damned greedy players. They should all be giving team friendly deals.
I don't agree with you. It wasn't scuttlebutt propaganda. Prescott doesn't want to deal. He wants to wait till next season after he proves himself. You can't involve him in this turn and I don't think Cooper gives a crap either. He's too laid-back will take it when it comes this is about Elliott the knucklehead nobody else . Jerry has put so many deals together he could give a crap about you or I or what anybody else thinks make no mistake about that

Well in Zeke’s case, Jerry did put up with a lot and went bat for him. Of course, this is why you don’t draft a RB that high, especially a mental patient with character issues. Jerry brought this upon himself, another failed rehab project but it doesn’t make what Zeke has done and is doing right.

Yep it's Jerry's team. He can do what he wants. It won't make any difference. 24 years and counting with Jerry doing things his way. And BTW I'm not saying I agree with paying everyone top dollar. I'm just tired of Jerry speaking out in the media about it. It doesn't help.
Jerry can do whatever he wants because it's his team, plus because he knows an overwhelming majority of fans want to know what's going on and what he is doing. Sorry that you are in the minority, but this is a ratings and marketing business. That is what makes him money. He's giving to the fans what the majority of fans want. It's why his franchise has become the richest franchise in the world! Think about that for a minute. Why would or should Jerry change?

Well I don’t think you have to worry about it because based on his actions I don’t think he’s every taken them off.

Getting toyed around with? Who opened their mouths about signing all 3 of these players with all under contract and started with Gurley's deal?

How convenient, shoot their mouths off and then try to turn it on the agents. Agents could care less about the Joneses and them letting it be known the ones they have trouble dealing with because they're lame negotiators without some leverage to work with like the personal attachment that Jaylon has.

Ya know who's not celebrating this today? Not one player in that locker room coming up next season because Booger used Jaylon's loyalty against other players and tried to put them in a bad view. Like that 40M BS rumor they started and the mysterious parking lot video of Bryant when he was negotiating.

That was a boatload of BS today. Never should have addressed the other players, that should have been all about Jaylon and not some hometown discount but the fact he's a Cowboy and one we do not have to be concerned about.

If I am those agents, I just got a hell of a lot harder to deal with and if I am one of those players, I'd let Booger know that was dirty pool and a low blow delivered during a happy time. Who in the hell isn't a Jaylon Smith fan? I'd bet those 3 players are and he just got used against them. I can't see him happy about that either.

Of course the fans are going to get all giddy and give Booger an attaboy, we want everyone to take less because we are not them.
All of these players were offered top 5 money at their position...……….Zeke, Dak, Coop, and Jaylon

Three said no, only one said yes..…..I hardly call that low balling..…...Jerry is right, players demanding to be the highest paid can suck it.

Hard to imagine Jerry/Stephen caving at this point. They are gonna string this out into the season and wait for Zeke to cave due to lost game checks. At least, I believe that's their plan. So let's hope Pollard can hold things together for the first few weeks...
Pollard will be dead tired after week 4. He’s never carried the load before, and he’s a rookie.

When players are negotiating contracts fans ALWAYS think the player's side is being unreasonable even though they know next to nothing about what's actually being said in meetings.
Here is Zeke's agent again!

This really is a blessing. Jerry NEVER would have even thought about trading Zeke. But now he no doubt has to think about it and it probably doenst sound all that bad.

Sadly, it would be the best move for the franchise.

I am actually thinking it wouldn't be sad. It could be a windfall. If Pollard continues to grow, grab another guy next draft, get some nice draft capital for Zeke. I am 100% OK with it. The guy is a dunce.

Being a team player is usually it's own reward and more to boot. Zeke would have been better off to show patience instead of acting up. Here's hoping he grows up and realizes it before it's too late. Jaylon has been a team player from the start and is reaping the rewards. Good for him. Congrats, Jaylon.
And I can be happy for Jaylon but understand the other 3 at the same time. It's a war, a money war. Every player is out to get as much as he can and every owner is trying not to give him that.

The players did not create the market, the owners did. Did they think the checkbooks would fly open and every player wouldn't want some? The salary growth for some positions is outgrowing the cap increase and something has to give. Everybody wants some and the owners have more than any of them.

What recently happened in PIT is happening in DAL now. It's not about how much players at their respective positions are getting on other teams, it's about what players at other positions are getting on their team. That Lawrence contract was the first domino.
