Would Melvin Gordon take Gurley money?

The Cowboys offensive line has become a fish story. It gets greater each day Zeke holds out.

Pretty soon all of them - including the back ups - will be headed to Canton.
Lol, nice attempt at spin. That’s not what I’m saying.

MG behind the Dallas OL would be at least 2-3x greater than Pollard or any of the other current RBs on the team. You have to at least admit that much.

if so, let’s trade Zeke for him and a third round pick and call it a day.
Melvin Gordon averages 66 yards per game rushing.

Zeke averages 64+ just after contact.
Literally without an offensive line he matches Gordon’s production.

But lemme guess, receiving?

Gordon 28.7 yards per game receiving.
Zeke 30 yards per game receiving.

Nope.

See my comment above.

When responding to someone aghast that you think he'd be top 5:

He would be in Dallas....anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded and dishonest with themselves.

You didn't say 2-3 times greater. you said top 5. As in Barkley, Zeke, Gurley, Kamara. Legit all-pro contenders. your words.

I bet if MG ran behind the Cowboys OL and Zeke behind the Chargers OL the past three years their stats would be reversed....or no less than equal.

Here you claim MG would have been the greatest RB in the world behind your line, as Zeke was. 2 rushing titles and a third without suspension. He would have gotten Zeke's all-pro with this incidence.

No need to spin it, you really said these things. No, MG is not All-Pro behind your line.

I was talking about a lot more than your post. The Cowboys offensive line has reached mythical proportions in recent days.

I'm sure the Chargers would jump at that opportunity.

No kidding. Melvin Gordon isn't anywhere close to being on Zeke's level. Gordon is much more close to Marion Barber than he is to Elliot.

Barkley had 16 carries for 32.75 yard per carry average.

The other 94% of his rushes he averaged just over 3 yards per carry.

Teams were basically defending the Giants via soft cover 2 zone. Even the number of completions of Barkley are check-downs. Teams stack the box against Zeke. Teams still respect the arm of Manning, even with his deteriorating play.

That's how averages work. One 32-yard carry per week combined with 65 additional yards at 3 YPC would lead the NFL in rushing.

Melvin Gordon isnt worth Bell money.
The guy is Reggie Bush 2.0 trying to get paid like he is Zeke, Barkley or Gurley.
There are next to no similarities between Gordon and Bush, outside of them both having played running back.

Wrong. But I don’t care enough about your opinion to take you to football school on this fine Sunday morning.
You lived this long not knowing your butt from a hole in the ground so not worth my time friend.
Enjoy your day.

Gordon is nothing great. Really good back, but not near what Zeke is.
He’s a very good back and he’d sign for a lot less.

Also, the ‘boys only need an 7.5 RB to be a contender...not a 9.

Currently they have a few 6’s, which won’t cut it.

This is an EXCELLENT trade scenario for Dallas... IF the Chargers are open to it.
