As much as I realize what a talent Zeke is, I'm behind Jerry on this one.

It's clear he's dug in. But it's bizarre (and simple contract negotiations) that he's arguing you don't need a leading rusher type TB to win a SB but he's apparently got an offer on the table that woudl make Zeke the 2nd highest paid TB.

EDIT: LOL, he's also wrong about a leading rusher winning a SB as noted above.

With the salary cap.. I don't have a problem with what they have done at tailback since 2015. Our lack of success was because of our pass game that year.

We need to get better at throwing the football. Zeke is just the cherry on top of all of this.

When we throw better Zeke will run better too.

3-5 to begin last season and Zeke was a top rusher.. 7-1 after acquiring Amari and improving our pass game and Zeke was still a top rusher.

If we want a championship it will be on our 30+ million dollar QB and defense's shoulder's.

The best thing zeke can do is fire his agent but he obviously is too dumb to do so.

We get to see just how dumb Zeke is when we start the season 0-3. At 0-2 Jerry will start to flinch so much you will think he has the tremors.

A couple of his lines stood out to me that Jerry said...

1. There hasn't been a team win the Superbowl with the leagues leading rusher since we did it.

2. We've had Zeke for 3 years and we didn't win a Superbowl.

He also said that they think they are better prepared to attack teams through the air when they take Zeke away. (That's is actually embarrassing that an NFL team wasn't more prepared for this anyways)

Jerry is dug in right now so whatever leverage anyone thought Zeke had by sitting out it doesn't seem to matter to the team.

The league's leading rusher caveat is a bit disingenuous. You don't have to have the league's leading rusher to have a strong running game that teams have to respect. Having a runner teams have to respect naturally should make things easier on your passing game.

lol if he wasn't a jacaszz off the field he'd get it. Right now he's not worth it. His value is less than #1 money and he has no one to blame but himself.

For people who have been challenging me on this, he couldn’t be more clear: Jerry Jones is dug In for the long haul and he expects Zeke back by Week 10 to accumulate a year of service. I guess that Aug 5 date really didn’t matter after all.

Ladies and gentlemen, Zeke won’t be wearing the Star for awhile. If ever - it’s entirely possible that Zeke doesn’t care to accumulate a year on his contract and sits the entire year then demands a trade. That would be dumb, of course, since Jerry doesn’t have to trade him at all.
