No doubt Zeke is a special back. But a major injury can befall any player; at any position, at any time.

If Elliott misses games (and it looks like he will) he's taking a huge gamble. If Tony Pollard turns out to be the player the Cowboys think he can be, Zeke loses all his leverage; at least with the Cowboys. And other teams will look at Zeke and start to think he's the product of the Dallas o-line; and combined with his off the field shenanigans he may never get a better deal than the one Dallas is offering him right now.

you guys are thick ie stubborn, the RB postion is being argued as devalued postion and owners will do anything to not pay them given more excuses like a major injury, BELL did this for the same reasons.. he was not going to risk that one injury that kept him from getting new deal and he as well as Zeke knew the time was right to demand the most he can get they both were at the peak of their age and performance and have a lot left to give.. 2 yrs don the road that can change drastically and its why it 100% the opposite what Aamri and Dak will go through..

Elie RBs are being lowballed and railroaded the last 5years and the Next ones up for contracts are taking notice and making their stand..its NOW for them, they are going to change how the elite RB are treated...something in the CBA will be fight for to make sure RBs like them. not all, just the ELITE back who are a major part of the teams offense are due for more respect..

If owners want to change this , easy, dont pick a RB in the 1st round especially top 5 because most of them will produce most will be huge stars and when they out perform the rookie deal they ALL will demand new deal early.. EE is not alone and dumping on one of our stars because hes protecting himself is sad really..im not happy he is holding out but fully understand and will welcome him back when this all gets worked out..

Our ONLINE and the entire TEAM got trucked that game..the Rams D was I oir backfield ALL GAME and the Rams RBs ran over TANK, Jaylon (big new deals but couldn't tackle Goff on that last dagger run, one legged Gurley and fat CJ)) and the entire defense.. or is your memory focused on just Zeke because you are blinded by your dislike for him? the TEAM failed along with bad coaching that 2nd QTR was one of the wort ever..

Zeke had well over 120 the other 2 playoff games average dover 5YPC both games..i guess that doesnt fit your narrative.. oh the Rams game is your narrative on Zeke when the team failed..i was at bar unfortunately during this game with 4 rams fans 2 eagles fans on either side of me , trust me I remember..that Oline at the snap were being manhandled back behind the line and just sold out to stop Zeke..

I dont get paid to play in the nfl
those that were should give back their game day check and playoff bonus's, our oline was HORRIBLE that game, at the snap Rams DL just pushed them back 2 yards nearly every snaps.. DL horrible, Defense Horrible, coaching horrible but yes choose that game.. if that game was used the entire team should have been let go after their contracts were up ...
