I know all the coach speak after the game no mention of the 417 or so yards GIVEN UP to Latech yo..lol they moved the ball easily and if it weren't for TOs this could have been nail biter.. better starp it on for LSU they will make you PAY Dearly for all those Yards given up..they are young and a ton of turnover for sure.. The Wrs looked great..

first game I wont be so critical but doesnt SamE remind you of Dak a bit? he just seems to have those moments where he misses the seam routes and deep balls, only good at the crossing and in routes and sometimes middle stuff but man he missed some open guys deep last night.. Hes frustrating as he can look great most of the game but being hyped as dark horse Heisman guy and I just dont see it.. we can win with him sure but he doesnt look lie a pro prospect to me..

they better clean all that up , it was a College Preseason type first game but the real one starts next game..

We will find out of TX is Contender or Pretender..Tom says they havent mentioned or started any game planning IE no looking ahead of Latech for LSU and were totally focused on Latech LMAO right Tom, Sure I believe that..sure..

Elie RBs are being lowballed and railroaded the last 5years and the Next ones up for contracts are taking notice and making their stand..its NOW for them, they are going to change how the elite RB are treated...something in the CBA will be fight for to make sure RBs like them. not all, just the ELITE back who are a major part of the teams offense are due for more respect..

apparently the top 5 backs are getting paid and well, so times are changing... maybe teams will see the that paying all starting franchise QBs well beyond their actual production is also a mistake, its not unlike a RB other then longevity but I can promise you this, those QBs making 27-34 mil that are obvious mistakes and up for being cut for lack of payoff will wake some up.. Dak demanding more then 30 is so laughable it makes my side hurt , same with Aamri the Market peak has to stop, NOT SALL THESE PLAYERS DESERVE THE SAME AS THEIR COUNTERPARTS , 'just because'..

there are a handful of Elite backs who deserve top pay and yet its only half what some pretty average QBs are making but the RBs are far outproducing them, its not hard to understand..

If you take a RB in the first round and he lived up to and far exceeds his rookie deal, pay up, if not stop taking RBs in the first round.. Obviously Fournette, Barkley, and few other a bit lower are still being taken by Owners and GMs who see whats been going on with Bell and Zeke and soon others..

simple stop drafting them so high and 5th year options thrown on them if they are Devalued LOLthey sure use them like Ferraris but then want to have them for a Chevy silverado price..

maybe just draft tjem in 4th round or lower, most likely wont change though, if a player is ELITE and used as the centerpiece for your teams offense , he will want to get PAID for his wprth not for the bs excuse they have short csreers as this plays rigt into the fact they want early new BIG contracts and thats where we are headed.. the CBA may have to make sure Rbs stop being underpaid and overused..

even at 15 Zeke arguabley the best skill player on the team, accounts for 50% of the offense or more will eb like the 4th highest paid oin the team and he shouldnt worry about a new deal now while he has the best leverage..

EE has 28 TDs in 3 seasons Gordon 28 in 4 years , same carries, one has 4 years and 600less yards and .7 YPC less average in Gordon.. so all those carries and still same amount of TDs , not hurt, better average, more yards, and never injured..did it in 3 years over 4..whos better..hmm )

Only a slow person would compare the 2 Zeke is far better then Gordon..

I would rather see MG then Zeke if im a defense.. we would not be happy seeing Zeke twice year on the Eagles..)

Good game but lots of room for improvement. LSU is not exactly a powerhouse offense but they are probably a lot better Defensively so I think Texas needs to button some things up with these young fellas. Defense was out of position a whole bunch last night. See if they can get that fixed before next week.
