Cowboys at #7. Sounds about right.

Still can't believe the Eagles are at #5 but it is best to over estimate an opponent than under estimate them.

If we are 7 and the Eagles are 5, that's hardly a travesty. It wouldn't be a travesty if it were reversed and we were 5 and they were 7.

I hate to break the bad news to all of you guys but the Eagles are going to be very good. The division is going to be a real dog fight. The teams are pretty evenly matched talent wise.

Eagles went 5-6 until Foles went in. He's in Jacksonville. Dallas went 7-1 with Amari. He's in Dallas. Dallas doesn't have a weak unit. The Eagles have a pitiful secondary and linebacker group. That would be my argument for switching the two.

Their secondary isn't pitiful............ their safeties are better than ours, for starters.

They had a pitiful LB crew in 2017 and won the SB. They also have a better coach.

Prepare yourself for a dog fight. Thinking the Cowboys will run from this division and the Eagles are average is misguided (well, in fairness, if either starting QB goes down, then that team is dead in the water).

I know you always have your pom poms out for them but their back 7 is straight up bad and they went 5-6 with Wentz while Dallas went 7-1. Arguing that they should be favored is baseless.

It all hinges on Mr. Wentz and his ability to stay healthy and not choke in the 4th quarter. Sorry to say. I dont see either of those happening. And with their back 7 being the way it is. I see a lot of points being scored against them as well.

His breakdown of the Eagles is ridiculously stupid.

The Cowboys get all the offseason shine? Yeah needing to pay good players has been written about like it's a fatal diagnosis.

The Eagles don't have any weaknesses? Sure.

Wentz will surely return to form. Because last season never happened.

Surely you can make an argument but this ain't it chief.

Arguing what happened last year will carry over to this year is what is kind of baseless.

Where would you rank the Eagles then if they are overrated at 5 in this poll? 15?

They were 12th in scoring defense last year with a secondary that was ravaged by injuries. They get both Darby and McLeod back in that secondary. I doubt they will be an elite defense but they won't get shredded either.

Well. Like you said above. If Wentz goes down they are done. Just like any other team in the NFL losing their starting QB. I think with zeke on the field we are one of the best teams in the NFL. Our coaching however makes me very apprehensive about getting excited.

Well I've made no such claims. I am simply looking at our roster, their roster, their coach, our coach and the reality is the teams are pretty evenly distributed in terms of talent with the Eagles having a better coach.

So if you are guessing records for 2019.......... where do you have us and where do you have the Eagles?

Clearly if Wentz goes down they are done. And if i were a betting man, he probably will go down at some point. But from this point in time, you have to assume everyone one every team will be healthy and if that's the case where do teams rank?

If Wentz is healty and we are healthy, the reality is neither team really has a distinct advantage over the other talent wise IMO (coaching is another issue).

I wouldn't bet on the Saints or Eagles before the Cowboys right now, regardless of Zeke.

That Saints offense is donezo and the Eagles defense is trash other than DT.

not so simple.They also have a better Oline,Dline and TEs.imo the 2 teams are very close and i would give the edge to the team with a better Dline.

The Eagles hatred makes it so difficult for yall to be subjective lol.

They improved at RB, WR, OL, DT, safety, while will also better at CB by virtue of that they couldnt have been any less healthy last season.
