I would go with 20-25 carries, regardless of snaps. Another 15 carries or so for Pollard is good, too. #BleedThatClock #ShortenTheGame

Yeah I agree. That should still be good enough to get him to 100+, if he has a field day then 150+. Pollard gets 12-15 carries and we dominate the clock.

I'm more interested in Pollard's snap count because we know Zeke will get his.
If Pollard is good enough that we can keep Zeke below 20 carries per game, that's going to be a much fresher Zeke in the 4th quarter and in the postseason.

They're going to let Zeke get his legs under him first. I'm guessing Pollard carries most of the load this week and Zeke taking the bulk of touches moving forward.

That sounds about right. And those are snaps NOT carries. I’d be surprised if he got more than 15 carries.

We beat the lousy Gnats without Zeke and only playing our starters for half the game last year. They very well may be worse on both sides of the ball but certainly defense, we don’t need Zeke to win this game or the first three for that matter.

17 carries 5-6 catches, let Pollard TRY and Prove PS wasn't fluke the first 2 or so games.. Jerrys mouth was running before the contract was signed about Zeke better if they keep his legs fresh for late games and playoffs.. I want to see pollard get real snaps..
its to natural of reaction to pay zeke so much and now the expectations is well use him up and he better produce, I see post already he better get even better have 2k yards more tds..um thats not how it works, no layers ive seen that got huge deals actually earn it, like jerry said they ALL are overpaid..I want to zeke to be zeke, no pressure to do too much to somehow make fans feel like the deal was warranted....
I say go opposite, be smart, use Pollard more early on and let zeke run wild in 4th qtrs. , short yardage, goal line, and when the biggest game and biggest moments come, he can be fresh..
oh and EE if you are reading this when you have the chance go down and run out of bounds.. time to preserve yourself like Emmitt did..be smart..
