Game Day ***Cowboys vs Giants post game thread ***

Can we all agree? Dak had a great game!!
The work he did in the off season showed big time. He was making those over the shoulder drop-in throws that he's seemed to have trouble with in the past, and making smart decisions. (except when running the ball...Once you've got the first down, don't lower your head, and definitely don't stiff arm...especially with your throwing arm!)

You know nothing of this offense as you think you know it. Not any more than anyone else.

He did not miss open guys, his stat line shows that.

speaking of, did you just see that horrible pass Brady just threw, with 2 wide open WR;s right there. It bounced right between them.

You do realize I probably wrote a 1/3 of the playbook don't you??? and played @ BSU for a year? Harsin stole half my plays from flag football. I got a championship trophy down @ the Dutch Goose to prove it. Hell...I still got the playbook. but yeah...I know nothing.

You know ABSOLUTELY nothing.

Well ok if you say so. It means nothing to me.
But it still takes a good QB to run it. Your hate for Dak shows otherwise.

The great:
- The receivers were incredible. They were making grabs all over the place and were getting lots of YAC. This receiver corps is outright scary at this point if Coop, Gallup, Witten, Cobb, Jarwin, etc. play like this.
- Moore's playcalling was fantastic. Teams will adjust but it was clear the Giants had no idea what to expect.

The good:
- Dak played a meh first quarter and was great in the second and third.
- The O-line was solid all game long
- The linebackers and defensive backs made a lot of big plays

Meh
- The running backs were nothing special. Pollard's big run was called back. Zeke looked rusty.

The bad
- The only group I can really complain about was the D line. They weren't getting pressure and they were so so at best on run defense.

If keeping the team together means letting Dak walk and take the comp pick...I'm all for it. People act like this offense is all Prescott's doing. Kellen can find another QB. I'd bet money on it.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:Just like you said Kellen was the next Cowboy QB great. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Good game. Hopefully, the defense works out the kinks. We gave up 470 yards to the Giants. No panic....but that's too many for a defense that should be in the top five.
A lot of those yards were in garbage time though.

No...I just know he needs to open his eyes down field. He started to do it late in the 2nd and 3rd quarters...hence the chunk plays. But all those short dump plays early...wholly crap...he had guys running across the middle deep...wide open for scores. Giants were in man coverage...single safety look...safety bit on the underneath...slot was over the top...and had his guy beat. All Dak had to do was lay it over the top. He just didn't see it. Happened multiple times.
