I was quite impressed by Dak today, and the receiving corps as well. they were open everywhere. not going to get my hopes up JUST yet, as its only the first game but looks like its going to be a good season. it is possible it could be THE season.

If you are being discussed alongside PAPPYDOG you are saying Dak sucks. Aside from that, acting as if the kind of day Dak had tonight was just an ordinary expectation against the Giants is nonsensical. That’s not a normal expectation against any team.
who chose to discuss it? I didn't...so saying that its total non-sense. and you still haven't shown me one post where I said Dak sucks. you are perturbed because I haven't been slobbering like you have and that's bothering you.

Has anyone checked on Pappydog? He hasn't posted since the game. At least someone should go to his place and confirm he's alright.

Man...I've only been banging on this Kellen Moore train for 9 years...about time this paid off. Still...it's the system. Don't be fooled by Dakkers.

LOL I thought you were banging on th
A list of Dak's top ten games total yards wise:

1. 457 yards 3 TD 12/9/2018 Phi W

2. 417 yards 4 TD 9/8/2019 NYG W

3. 387 yards 4 TD 12/30/2018 @ NYG W

4. 345 yards 3 TD 12/10/2017 @ NYG W

5. 325 yards 3 TD 10/30/2016 Phi W

6. 319 yards 2 TD 11/13/2016 @ Pit W

7. 317 yards 3 TD 11/20/2016 Bal W

8. 315 yards 3 TD 1/15/2017 GB L

9. 307 yards 3 TD 11/22/2018 Was W

10. 306 yards 2 TD 10/21/2018 @ Was L

Theme I notice? 7/10 games are against NFC East teams (6-1 in those games too). Dak has played very well against the division. NFC East had multiple playoff teams in 2016 and 2018 and had the Super Bowl winner in 2017. Not saying to pay him 40 mil a year. But don't discount his success against the division. He is 14-5 overall.

Well if that's the case you can also put the Patriots on the same list because they get a first-round bye by default each and every year due to playing in the weakest division in football.

He was really good today.

But about 12-13 quarterbacks will do that to the Giants this year. Those safeties were atrocious.

Well those safeties were biting on play-action a lot. Thus allowing our receivers to run free deep in the open field. Playcalling made their safeties look atrocious than they really are.

Dak was good. But it helped that the Giants played without safeties.

I haven't seen receivers that open in a long time.
They also had no pass rush lol, Dak had all day to look and throw.
Which is still good what dak did, but when we play a team with a good pass rush things could be real different.
And like what I think strahan said, the giant had around 500 yds total offense, so our defense is a little suspect.
And they got plenty of rest, with dak going on the long drives.

Good news is I think wash and miami may not have much of a pass rush either.
But overall, even if giants are a weak team, it was a great way to start the season.

Dak was great today. Very disappointed that JG put the team into a shell in the 4th quarter. It should pedal to the metal until the game clock shows 0.

And as bad as he was he was better then Garrett.

Garrett had no idea how be a balanced playcaller..

Not true at all........you may wanna research Garrett's first two years as offensive coor. He was pretty good. In fact, he turned down a couple of head coaching interviews..

Lol, as if you posting on a public forum isn’t choosing to discuss. If you want to write graffiti go find a wall somewhere, but here you can expect a response. My response to this is that acknowledging a great game by a player isn’t slobbering over him, it’s just being fair minded and cognizant of reality, whereas pretending it was an ordinary expectation is evidence of a silly agenda. The difference between us is I’ll acknowledge when Dak plays well and when he doesn’t, but you’ll downplay when he plays well and exaggerate it when he doesn’t.

Kellen Moore has unleashed this offense. Dak looked like a gunslinger shooting fish in a barrel. How good can this offense be? They still have things to fix and they should use these next two games to fix them because after that the schedule gets harder. I think our 'Boys are up to the challenge but it won't be a cakewalk all season. Gallup is clearly ready for a greater load on him, which is good to see if Coop needs to miss any games. Cobb can do things Beas never could and that was on full display yesterday. The play-action called by KM was so good to see but the running game will need to improve. No doubt, it will as Zeke gets closer to getting in football shape. His power run into the endzone was good to see. The defense needs to improve but I still see good things happening on that side of the ball this season. I have faith things will get fixed by the time the real challenges arrive after week 3.

This thread is full of premature congratulators:laugh: Ya'll saw him do this against a possibly historically bad defense and now he's the GOAT. If he plays like that against better competition then i'll happily eat crow, but until then this team just beat up a sorry Giants team.

There is not enough cow to go around right now anyway happy to see you eat yours later

I’m going to issue a partial apology here. I tried to backtrack, and while you aren’t a Dak fan, I can’t find where you say he sucks. I took another posters comment that put you in a category with PAPPYDOG and that may not have been fair. My nmistake on that.

But I hold to my comments about it being nonsense to suggest Dak’s game yesterday was just an ordinary expectation against the Giants. The Giants have defensive issues, but 405 yards, 4 TDs and a perfect QB rating are never an expectatiin, and never treated as anything less than outstanding QB play.
