Stats: Cowboys Offense vs Giants

For sure. I did notice as the game went on Elliot was starting to get warmed up and was getting ready to start breaking them off. Glad they pulled him when they did.

Oh, I was thrilled when I heard "..and that's the last we'll most likely see of Elliot."

Call be a tad superstitious, I was worried coming into the game with some of the "big contract" injuries that happened in the early games, i.e. T. Hill and Foles. That's the last thing that we needed, a freshly extended player having a detrimental injury that could derail the season.

Such is football, unfortunately. You can't predict injury, though I'm glad we went a bit preventative when the game was essentially won.

There have been 74 total in the last 71 years. Two of them were yesterday, Jackson and Prescott.

Yes Dak was incredible yesterday. By the way Dak's came with the 2nd most attempts and 3rd most yards all-time.

That said there have been 29 since 2000. And Brady only has two of them - Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger have twice as many over that span. (No I am not trying to take anything away from Dak or Brady with that)

I've already reviewed all of the numbers.

I set the criteria at 25 or more attempts; otherwise, players like Brandon Weeden with 1 pass attempt in a game come up with a 158.3 passer rating (1 pass, 43 yards & TD).

With the criteria of 25 or more attempts, Brady is the only QB since 2000 with 2 perfect QB rating games.

Note: If the criteria was set at 30 attempts then Dak is only 1 of 3 players since 2000 with a perfect QB rating.

There were 14 total QBs with a perfect QB rating & 25 or more attempts since 2000.

Dak was the 4th youngest of the 14.

Was the one thing I don’t mind about JG conservative ways. I saw Elliot almost break one and he got kind of pulled down and thought he got up with a limp. I was screaming that’s it. Pull him. Lol.
