The Good - The Boyz offense is clicking on all cylinders, Dak looks great, the receivers are all over the place, and the run game should be full speed in a week or two.

The Bad - The defense did not stuff the run up the middle, looks like the same issue as the Rams game last year. Giants gained 470 total offense, Barkley running up the gut consistently. Watch how our D-Line lines up. With out a nose guard, the linebackers need to help plug that hole.

The Ugly - Yes, they were up by 18 points with under 7 minutes left in the game, but the Boyz took the peddle off the gas. When you have your foot on the opponents neck, keep it there until they blackout. The Cowboys tend to let up when they should obliterate the other team.

Yeah, I don't like 3 runs and out no matter how much you are up! That sucks as a fan! Unless of course your defense is just beating the crap out of them!

You mean having a terrible safety in Heath that can't clean up properly and no true 1T bit us again? You don't say!

Barkley has 1 big run and then 61 yards on all other runs.

The Cowboys were content to let the Giants run in the 2nd half or complete underneath passes. That just burns time off the clock.

Garrett has had a big problem letting up and becoming too conservative but that was not really an issue in this game. The Cowboys scored 2 TDs in the 2nd half.

It’s not really ugly when you’re way up and you pull a lot of starters (including QB) and put reserves in. Yes you’re calling off the dogs... no there’s nothing wrong with it IMO.

And other than the one long run (which was a bust), the Giants didn’t do very well on the ground. It actually was nothing like the way the Rams ran in the playoffs.

If you take out saquons long run he still averaged 6.1 yards per carry. That is awful run defense.

Barkley averaged over 6 yards a carry, outside of that huge run, which had him at over 10 yards a carry. The things that saved us were the lopsided score and the fact that the Giants offensive coordinator is a moron.

Granny Marinelli put us in prevent for the entire 4th quarter. WHICH IS DUMB. That creates bad habits. We need to play hard for 4 full quarters...no mercy. Run D better get fixed because Gruden will go after us right up the gut.

The Good - Dak and the Cowboys passing offense.

The Bad - Zeke and the Cowboys running game. He looked rusty from his time off and the offensive line run blocking wasn't up to their usual standards.

The Ugly - The Cowboys defensive line. They picked up right where they left off last year, little to no pressure on the passer, and giving up huge yards in the running game. They are a cause for concern at this point.

So you think it was similar to the Rams game?

And you’re right about the Giants use of Barkley. Not using him on 3rd/4th and short was just stoopid.

If by "similar" you mean "not at all good"? Then yes I do. The scoring by the offense and the ineptitude of the Giants coaching took Barkley out of the game, not anything at all that our defense did.

And you’re right about the Giants use of Barkley. Not using him on 3rd/4th and short was just stoopid.

Their offensive coordinator was our defensive MVP for that game.

Garrett is notorious for taking his foot off the gas which is why no lead is 100% comfortable, he never has had that killer instinct.

I'm not sure I can find an "ugly" from that game unless it's the Giants starters out playing our backups. In which case, still not ugly.
