What was Tony Romo's all time best game?

His 2011 first game against the giants was pretty spectacular

Had he connected on that last throw to Austin, he would’ve had 400 yards, 5 td, and a near 160 rating

Instead we went in a losing effort.
21/31 321 10.4 4 0 3-16 79.3 141.3

His 2 best games statistically (this one and the denver one) were both loses.
But the mentally deficient Romo haters do have a point, if we didn’t have Romo we would’ve gone 2-14 for about 7 seasons in a row and piled up on draft pics. Damn it Romo!

Romo had many amazing games. Against Seattle when they looked unbeatable. The Denver game. So many beautiful passes to so many different receivers. If he had just had more working parts to the teams he played for. He would be a multiple super bowl winner. We just saw what making a crucial addition can do. Add Cooper and a bad record becomes 10-2. Add a competent coordinator and a great quarterback suddenly looks all world.

2013 vs Denver is a favorite of mine -- only to have an OL step on his foot to mess up the throw and turned it into a game losing INT

One of my favorites as well. So much happened on that one play. The OL stepping on his foot, the TE drifting away from Tony instead of staying on a straight line, which allowed the LB to make a really great play. It was a great catch by the LB, let's not forget that. Also, if Tony would have looked in the flat Murray was standing there all alone. But man, that was a fun game to watch, 2 great QB in top form.

I came to say the Denver game, the ultimate shootout with one of the games all time best QBs..

However..

It seems to be an incredibly popular game, so I'm going to go a bit unorthodox here..

2009 vs New Orleans

The Saints came marching in, 13-0 and looking to set the world on fire. Dallas was 8-5, on a 2 game winning streak and had "no chance" to upset the Saints.

Wound up to be one hell of a ball game.

49ers in 2011

Broken ribs, punctured lungs

Lighting up an elite defense with Jesse Holley

GOAT
One his most heroic, for sure.
That and the game with the busted back....win orgo home week 16 at Washington. Game winning drive and TD pass, then off to the hospital for eventual back surgery.

As far best games where he was lighting it up:
The 5 TDs, 0 ints vs Tampa early in his career
Or
The Denver game.
Or the the two 4 TD, 0 int games in 2014

It was a blowout from start to finish, but I thought he looked good against the Colts in 2014.

Buffalo game witb 5 int and win or denver game almost 40 points and a loss are somethings which come to mind, but the first seattle playoff game except for that stupid shiny k ball slip , would have been the one.

What say you all?
I think this is a topic worthy for the offseason when we have nothing else to talk about. This week we have so many other things to talk about. Our dismantling of the Giants, our upcoming road game in Washington, our young OC guru, our talented players excelling, injuries, what's going on with the new contract negotiations? So, you see we have things to talk about that are relevant to what going on now. Let's put this thread on the back burning and bring it back when not so much is going on. It's a worthy topic that we shouldn't forget about but its good for when times aren't so busy with Cowboys Nation.

I was there for that game. It was amazing. You did not want to walk on Bourbon St. with a Cowboys jersey after that win.
