I love how everyone is jumping on the bandwagon bus. We have plenty of room, hop on board. We will see if any of these sports politicians jump off if there is a speed bump. Dak is a winner and has been a stud since he came in the league. Pap? crickets?

Go Dallas!!!

And there will be bumps and Dak will be labeled a bum as soon as a bad game happens. Expect it.

The media is a fickle bunch.

I was not on the bandwagon and have been HIGHLY CRITICAL OF DAK, but he has shown much improvement this year. They have surrounded him with weapons, and what appears to be an effective OC. Really, what QB would you take right now over Dak?

Mahomes--probably
Brady--Maybe
Rodgers? Not so sure.
Ryan--no way (and when the season started I would have made this swap)
Wentz (Hell no)

Anyone else?

The Dak conversation is old and tired. The fact is that he has ALWAYS played above his pay grade. So what if it took a couple of years for him to start looking polished? He managed to win two division titles while getting his sea legs, and it's exactly zero surprise to me. He's always had the talent and the work ethic, but like many people in all areas of life, we didn't start seeing just how good he could be until his confidence level matched his skill set.

No, he hasn't won a SB or an NFC championship game yet. He's a 4th round draft pick just starting his 4th year. As football is the ultimate team game, we'll need a little luck dodging the injury bug, but if we do that, we'll be looking really, really good for the next several years.

Setting aside 2015, been we've on a decent run for the past 5 years. Not much to show for it in the playoffs, but that's coming. It's a great time to be a Cowboys fan.

Ohh now he’s elite?? He’s always been a B QB in his eyes. He’s never been in that Wentz tier when he ranks QB’s. He can be a franchise QB with the right pieces but never an elite QB. In his words.

LOL. Welcome to the media shell game. He's hoping people are too emotional to remember. Most are. Media wins.

I’m not usually an “anti media” type guy. There are a ton of great reporters out there not just in sports but for every other kind of news.

I do think what you’re talking about is the problem
With modern 24/7 coverage of things. Coverage of football 24/7 all year long, leads people to have to really throw out a ton of opinions to fill air time and generate views. This inevitably leads to a lot of contradictions.

It’s why I try to just wade through all the opinion shows and just get he straight facts.
