The Cowboys literally almost killed Jimmy Smith, and then refused to pay him. Dude had appendicitis and complained about abdominal pain multiple times over multiple days, but the team trainers just gave him some Pepto Bismal and Maalox and told to get out there and play. He finally asked to see a doctor and was finally diagnosed properly. He then caught an infection after surgery that was nearly fatal, and ended up needing an Ileostomy (look it up, it isn't pleasant). The Cowboys then refused to pay him, canceled his health insurance, and cut him when he wouldn't take a huge pay cut. We didn't deserve Jimmy Smith. It has always bothered me Dallas gave up on Jimmy too soon.
Nothing personal here but I can’t stand that phrase.Next man up etc....
Packers? I'd prefer to have him back for the RAMS, PATS & SAINTSMaybe we can get him back for the Packers game.
Great signature
Uh, the Rams and Patriots come long after the GB game. Very little chance he'll be available for the Saints.Packers? I'd prefer to have him back for the RAMS, PATS & SAINTS
Smith is stepping up. Cobb still healthy. I think we are good. Better to have it happen now then laterThe chiefs are missing Hill and haven’t missed a beat. No excuses.
First comparison I made when we signed him.You mean Terry Glenn. I forgive!
Trimming the meniscus shouldn't result in loss of speed or power, but could result in arthritic knees and pain in the knees sooner rather than later. The meniscus basically cushions your knee.Isn't a meniscus tear some sort of stuctural damage? Or is it pretty insignificant? Hope he doesn't lose any power or speed. I love this kid
If we need to sign a guy off the street, Kevin White is another reclamation project (like Devin Smith) that is available.
6'3" 216 lbs, only 27 years old (compared very well, SPARQ-wise to Amari Cooper).
Kevin White
Drafted 7th overall in 2015. He ran a 4.35 at the Combine
2015 - fractured shin
2016 - fractured tibula
2017 - fractured left shoulder blade
2018 - finally healthy, caught 4 passes, 92 yards, long of 54
2019 - made Arizona Cardinals 53, then cut when they signed Michael Crabtree
Devin Smith
Drafted 37th overall in 2015. He ran a 4.43 at the Combine
2015 - torn ACL
2016 - limited play (1 reception for 20 yards)
2017 - torn ACL
2018 - out of football
2019 - Cowboys
White's an injury risk, just like Smith was, but very little risk signing him off the street at this time.
I like him. Seems like Dak's type of reciever. It offers Wilson a chance to show what he can do.
