Has Collins done anything this season? If he's not a long-term solution at 3-tech by now, he never will be. Looks like we're gonna have to completely revamp our DT position.

It'd be positive, but him not having done so yet doesnt mean he won't in the future like you alluded to. DE and TE are the two positions that take the longest to develop in NFL

remember DE Kerry Hyder? ... where is he ? .... has he been missing in action?

in preseason he was showing up and impressing, but once reg season starters, he's been a complete non factor. will he get better the more he plays ... or is this a sign of things to come ?

the Hot Boyz haven't got heated up yet. Quinn immediately provides the obvious help, and he's been out awhile so even he has to work to get himself back to form.
but he was firing off the line and forcing Jalen Rose to step up in the pocket.

we just don't have enough fire power overall going for us in the interior on a consistent basis. it's been so sporadic and in wide spots, we will so occasionally get a Maliek moment here and there
but it will be only one or two times in a game. the time in between those one or two moments are just too far apart.

Dlaw hasn't been up to par. ..yet. i'm waiting for the 100 million dollar man to be the war daddy that changes the dynamics of the opposition's pass game. and he's not even being double teamed or chipped,
is the recovery period going to take this much time for him to get into form?

Hyder made a few plays today. If the rest of the defense did their job, then some of these guys names will be heard more.

It was his best game so far. The funny thing is he played a lower percentage of the snaps vs. Miami (44 percent compared to 58 against Washington and 65 against New York).

Of course, this was the best game for most of the defensive linemen, even Taco.

With Crawford out, and with Kerry's role being very similar to what Tyrone dual role is as DE/DT. Hyder will be counted on to replicate those duties. He's probably even less of a nickel DT than
Crawford, but in obvious pass downs, he's needed to bring the heat whether one on one or in twists/stunts to bring heat to the QB.

If Quinn can produce at RDE, that's a very huge boost to a very average pass rush but we really need someone to emerge as an impact interior player- whether that's a starter or sub-package player.
