Cowboys DL vs. Saints OL

I think one of the biggest keys to the Cowboys victory last year was that the Cowboys' DL dominated the los. The Saints couldn't run and while the Cowboys only got one sack iirc they pressured Brees all day, and forced a bad throw that was intercepted to end the game. I was really surprised at how lop sided that battle was. Were the Saints short handed on OL? Did they improve in the offseason?

I think that Brees is better at avoiding the sack than Bridgewater. I also think that both teams are vastly different than last season. This past Sunday, Quinn made mean say, "wow". Man he has a relentless motor.
I can't wait to see the game, I wish it was the early game. I am counting down with anticipation. I do think that Dallas will dominate the entire game.

Easy- ! This will not be a cake walk.

Well it may be. I'm a bit concerned about the dropoff in production re: Gallup and Smith but we should still win by 7+. Looking at stats the Saints don't have a good defense run or pass. I'm sure they gave up a ton of yards against Seattle late in exchange of clock but they didn't look great against the Texans either. If the Texans can score points with their horrible OL and at Saints then the Cowboys should put up 30 on them.

However we don't know how things will shake out re: injuries, turnovers, and returns. It's imperative we don't give up big plays like Seattle did.

Crawford and Woods out at DT. That was most of our DT production last time.

DT is where we're weak.

Quinn will be more involved with more stunts and such this week than last week. When he was just getting his feet wet again.
He will have a huge game if the double team DLaw.

This is the type of game you paid Tank to dominate. He needs to do it and stop running his Hot Boyz head.

cowboys dl leaves a lot to be desired. If Lawrence going to show up at some point? I don't care if you're double teamed every play. You want the money you need to produce once you get paid.

Their OL is good. Two Pro Bowlers, and two 2nd team All-Pros at OT. Warford, Peat, Armstead, and Ramczyk.

They lost Unger but replaced him with McCoy.

Armstead didn't play in the game last year, he's one of the better OTs in the game.

I remember Gregory did well, but the backup was playing. Collins did well too.

They're going to want revenge for last season. That's some legitimate talent. Maybe we can take advantage of the rook.

I actually didn't think of this, but I think Crawford did most of his damage from the DE position. Still the backups need to pick up the slack this game.

Someone who is unfond of Crawford analyzed his sack production, and showed it came from DT. That's not every hit, pressure, or tackle, but those are his most impactful plays.

It also gibes with common sense. He's 290 and not so quick. Much more suited to 3T than RDE. And that's what we paid him all the money to be.

Dak will win the war of QBs easily in the passing and QB running game.
But a 70 yd run up the middle by Kamara through a Swiss cheese Dallas DL is what worries me.

I'm not saying he beat the LT one on one; he did some sort of stunt and came free. I thought it was from the DE position though.
