When was the last time Zeke made a defender miss?

Just curious when the last time anyone saw Zeke make a defender miss. All he ever does is put his head down, run into them, and fall forward for 3 yards. Don't get me wrong, the tough and hidden yardage is important, but in games like last night, we need a RB who can make something happen 1v1.

Zeke is not worth the money he is making, and in certain situations Tony Pollard should be on the field over him due to his more dynamic nature and ability to make guys miss in space.

Last time that stands out to me is when he hurdled the safety last year against Philadelphia and was off to the end zone before the turf tackled him.

I'll say this, Zeke doesn't look explosive.

Powerful? Oh yeah, he's certainly strong, and he continues to move the pile forward upon contact.

But explosive? Shifty? Capable of making the big play?

I'm not seeing that.

I didn't see a lot of "space" last night. Usually the first guy Zeke had to make miss was at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield, and he wasn't alone.

The burst is gone.

He's too caught up with his raging party scene, nose rings, Q-tip hair, and feed-me showboating. His lifestyle is taking a fast toll on his athleticism.

He's still a very good back, but he is WAY behind Saquon, Kamara, and others at this point.

Pollard doesn't have Zeke's battering ram toughness, but he looks twice as fast.

Slow and plodding. A good power back, but I'm not seeing the gamebreaking aspect of a complete back's game.

Makes you wonder why they have have lined up 10 yards behind Prescott haha. He has to run 10+ yards to get to the los..

Didn't undertand play calling last night, no run or pass options for Dak, no guards pulling or deep passes to open the field up. Maybe there saving playing calling for the playoffs in case they match up with the Saints again?

How about last week? And in Week 2 against the Skins he left 2 DBs in the dust for a long game to close out the game. People here have short memories.

Has nothing to do with his personality or lifestyle. Heavily-used RBs break down young. They just do. He's been slowing down since his rookie year (the canary in the coalmine was the disappearance of long runs).

It was certainly before he got paid. Now it takes too much effort.

I couldn't understand it either. It felt like Linehan had somehow managed to tap into the headsets!

A few weeks ago, the guy in the barber chair next to me was telling everyone how he worked security at a really high-end nightclub in Uptown and how every off day during the season he would see Dak and Zeke in there partying the night away. He said they would section off a party of club for themselves and then invite women in their section. He said Zeke would get into it with a lot of guys b/c he'd invite women who were already taken.

I don't doubt Zeke loves football and practices hard, but taking care of your body is a year around thing. I think this guy's drinking is making him sluggish. Also, I wish he'd cut his hair and beard to relieve himself of 5 lbs lol. He looks disgusting.

Have you seen Kamara's rings and appearance? Do you know his lifestyle choices? The point is he looks like he could easily be a RAPPER. Whether you like Zeke or not, let's try not to bring appearance and "social" commentary into this? Makes you look silly.

I was just told I don’t know what I’m taking about that Zeke looks slower. You can clearly tell he’s not as explosive as he was a few years ago. I remember that 60 yard TD run against Cincy where he just out ran both safeties. No one can he do that now.

He made one miss in the backfield just last night, but for the most part, he was just trying to cram through holes that weren't there. There was only one play where I felt he had the chance to bounce it to the backside to avoid the congestion and possibly break a big gain, but otherwise, it was tough sledding against a front seven that was controlling the line of scrimmage.
