We mock, and rightfully so, that Garrett is almost robotic on the sidelines. He is someone who keeps his cool probably a little too well. It's impressive that the refs got under his skin the way they did, and they seem to be interfering with the game more and more and more each season.

By the way, I'm not just saying this was against Dallas - I thought the late penalty on Green Bay today was BS as well. I had the same reaction when McCarthy was chasing the ref down the sideline last year. It's already hard enough to win in this league, but penalties are out of control.

He was asked if the flag was for spiking the challenge. He said in his presser the reason he got the flag was he was out of challenges and he had to clear up this play. His only choice was to throw the challenge and take the penalty (for challenging without a challenge). He did. And we went down and scored.

That’s incorrect. He was not out of challenges. You get two and he had only used one. It looked pretty obvious to me the ref didn’t like how he slammed it down.

I don't like that you have to challenge so many bad calls and then don't have the ability to challenge other bad calls. And losing time outs?

They need a neutral committee that has a ton of camera angles to chime in every time these refs blow a call/non-call.

Well, you go tell him he lied. And tell everybody in the press room who didn't question it they don't know what they are doing.
I posted the presser where he explained it.

If you can't find it, I'll post it again, but you have to promise us you'll call your own press conference and tell everybody Jason Garrett lied on national TV!

(BTW, you get two per game, not two per half.)

Garrett only keeps his cool because he usually doesn't have a clue what's going on.
Anybody can get mad. He's yet to provide any useful coaching from his position.

Good to see the robot finally show some emotion. It's too bad that we have to be down by 20 points before we start giving a ****.

I only remember him challenging on the pass interference call. Was there another challenge besides that one and the one he got penalized on that I missed?

I’m not saying that’s not what he said. I’m just saying he was not out of challenges at that point. He was mistaken in saying it. He had only used one. That’s just a fact unless he used one they didn’t show or talk about at all.

Troy and Buck seemed to think he must've said something "out of line", and you could see him saying something, but I don't know what.

I WILL NOT argue with you. You are saying he lied, (being mistaken is just a nice word for lying).

He says he used his challenge, nobody questioned it. Either you didn't see it, or everybody in the press room was in on his mistake (lie).
Which do you choose?

If you are still certain he is mistaken, call your press conference.

This officiating crew was bad.

He needs to show some emotion every now and then rather than standing and clapping all the time.
