Can we as Dallas fans finally tell the truth

And guys the truth is that we will NEVER be a great team again until Jerry Jones dies or Jerry Jones quits. Since Jimmy has left what has the Dallas Cowboys done for the last 20 years? Fans who hate on Dak. What has Dak done or hasn't done that Tony Romo did or didn't do? What has Zeke did that Murray didn't do? What has the defense did that the defense hasn't done in the past? What I'm trying to say is we as Dallas Cowboy fans have seen this horror show over and over for the last 20 year's. The only true constant has been Jerry Jones.

Jerry continues to sink the Dallas Cowboys. From after game interviews to making the Dallas stadium a spectacle. Jerry continues to be a JOKE in my opinion. He keeps an average coach for nearly 10 years. Yet even Washington has woken and fired Gruden. Jerry continues to pour money into an over rated Oline. I give him credit for not over paying Dak but what is his plan "B"? to replace Dak.? Some fans whine about Dak but remember how bad this team was before Dak came. I mean Dak retired some fans hero in Tony Romo. And as stated earlier. Romo faired no better then Dak. And that's on Garrett. Who should of been gone years ago. But who keeps Garrett here? Jerry Jones
.
Back to Jerry. He continues to not build a defense in a way that can help us become dominate. No big DT hire or draft worth a darn. He continues to think a great safety is a luxury versus a necessity. Bad drafting as in Taco and a few others. I think LVE is over rated. Jaylon disappears at times. So you may say maybe it's the DC? Well who has first hired and not fired Rod M? Jerry! So I look at my other teams. Ohio State had to move on from Meyers and so far so good. The Lakers had to move on from Phil, Magic and lost Dr. Buss. Took a while but seem to be now going into the right direction. So in short until Jones is gone with the environment he brings around this team. We're probably gonna see this horror movie over and over and over again. We need change at the top. If the top stinks? So will the middle and bottom. And NO. I'm not going to another team. But I will continue to post the truth. I like Jerry as a person. But as a GM. He brings nothing to the plate. Jerry helped us get 3 SB's and I thank him for that. But like a drought ridden Island. Jerry has been like a hurricane. He stopped the drought yet destroyed the Island in the process.

This team has 8-8 talent; there never should have been any other reality or expectations.
I'd like to see a better coach -coach this talent. With a GM that lets him buy and cook his own dinner. From coaches he hire to moves and guys he wants to bring in. No way Lincoln Riley comes to Dallas with power hungry Jerry wanting to buy and cook the dinner. I'd love to see Dak under Riley.

That's pretty much it. I'm glad Jerry hasn't done the musical chairs at head coach thing, but Garrett has had more than enough time to succeed. Time for a change.

I was thinking this last night after watching the game. I think the team has more talent than a lot of teams out there, but... It has become painfully apparent the Cowboys go into every game unprepared. Worse than that, there seem to be very little, to no in game adjustments. This has to stop. If the Cowboys continue playing like this, they will be picking in the top ten of the draft. The bad thing about this is, no matter who they select, the talent will be wasted. I agree with the crowd calling for a complete revamp of the coaching staff. The Cowboys don't win games because of the coaching, they win games in spite of the coaching.

The fact is I don't hold much hope under Stephen either.

This has been true for the last decade.

No coach gets less out of his talent than JG. They're actively worse than the sum of their parts year after year.

Idk stephen strikes me as more sensible. Stephen makes the occasional comment, but he doesn't seem as attention seeking as his father. I think he would hire a GM. Although who knows.

All i know is Jerry better change because he isn't gonna win anything before he dies.

All we can do is hope for that. I had much better hope for Stephen years ago. He seems to like the spotlight himself. I just wish we had an owner like Clint Murchison again.

The bright lights seem to hurt this team more than anything and that won’t change under Jerry. Everything is exaggerated when you are an international brand like the Cowboys are. Everything and everyone have to be a perfect 10 or a dud. The argument is always “everyone sucks” or “everyone is going to the Super Bowl” year round. A perfect example is the first int of the game! Blame Zeke or blame Cooper but it doesn’t matter. Both sides screwed up and the Packers benefited from both of them. Yet both players want top 3 pay at their positions (and will probably get it).

Jerry needs the hype to keep the team valuable. He’s not going to sell six figure personal seat licenses by spending the off-season telling the press your team is a B- at best. Most of it is Jerry but a lot of it is the media who over hype everything the Cowboys do.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly from yesterday.........

The Good.........Well after looking like the Dolphins for the first half at least they fought back and had a chance (a little one anyway)

The Bad........... Hmmmmmmmm let me see, this might take a while. drop passes, force throws for Int's, 28 points down, awful defense LVE and Jaylon Smith can't tackle, no turnovers by the defense, oh and I almost forgot a missed 35 yard field goal after another stupid penalty!

The Ugly............The last two games the Cowboys have been outcoached plus the last two games reminded me a lot like those undisciplined Wade Phillips team a lot of penalties and awful run defense. BTW who's Green Bay's running back? How the hell could a team dominate on the ground one week after totally abandoning the running game against the Eagles, how is that even possible? Tell you what folks they better get their act together or Garrett won't be the Cowboys Head coach this year,..............oh and one more thing hold onto that contract for Dak he has a lot more to prove!

Well sadly we are stuck with the jones family probably for most of our lifetimes !
we are like the bankers wife who was stuck next door to the clampetts, just nothing we can do about it.

The only thing is if jerry were forced to sell the team, but the odds on that are not promising.
Jerry will never hire a HC and give him the reigns, he wants to meddle in all areas.
He would hire a HC, and then not even let him hire his own staff. And no way jones ever gives up drafting, that is like his xmas!
Jerry is an old "kid" and the cowboys are his toy, and he will do what he wants with that toy including tear it up if he wants too.

If someone offered jerry 10 billion for the team, he would not sell it. Best toy he ever had, never selling it.]

I gave up on the team when he gave JG his first contract, I dont expect much and it doesnt bother me when they lose games like
this or in playoffs. I actually like some losses when they show jerry in the booth and he is all pissed off.
