The defense was as putrid as it looked. But here is the best and worst of it. Just FYI anything under 60 is bad.

1. Tyrone Crawford 73.8
2. Joe Thomas . 70
3. Awuzie 69.3
4. Jaylon . 67.1
5. Dorrance Armstrong 65.8

the bottom 5

Xavier Woods 53.9
Sean Lee 51.6
Robert Quinn 51
Jeff Heath 39
LVE 30.9 . (OMG!!) . This is the lowest PFF score for a starting LB I ever seen. He's gotta be injured.

Other notables

Byron Jones 54.9
DALW 56.8

Marinelli, Richard, or Talent?

Edit:
I could also put it:
Marinelli, Richard, or McClay?

This defensive coaching staff really struggles developing talent, especially in the back seven. Corners come here with instincts to make plays on the football, and after two or three years, those instincts mysteriously disappear.

The greatness of Robert Quinn lasted about one week.

I'm baffled. Too many cooks in the kitchen?
I'm asking who might be more responsible for the blame of this spate of poor play.
Marineli?
Richard?
Or the one responsible for talent acquisition?

We have one real area of weakness and I said this all off season. Our interior DL is bottom 5 in the NFL. Collins is an average NFL DT but he's the best we got. I blame Marinelli b/c its his scheme and he refuses to add 1 tech DTs to the roster. Teams are killing us running the ball.

Also this so called area of weakness has been a festering boil in the defense before Richard was even brought onto the staff. But I'd be okay if they fired both of them along with Jason Garrett and had the next coach (hopefully Lincoln Reilly) pick his staff.

I'm not sure Richards is the problem but this sure isn't looking like the legion of boom. lol
