Every position on the roster has been upgraded with 1st round draft picks. LB, D-line twice (plus paid one), secondary has Byron Jones and a couple decent guys that were borderline 1st round. Offensive lineman def has them, rb yep good there, wr made the trade for amari.......guess what position hasn’t been touched? Yep, your beloved golden child’s position hasn’t been. Ole #4. If anybody thinks he is getting a contract without a deep playoff run (which I doubt they even go to playoffs cause eagles are better than them. Hell I doubt they win more than 7 games to be honest)......but if anybody thinks Dak Prescott has $30million a year waiting on him you should prob find another team to root for because you are clueless about where and how the cowboys are and are not spending their money.

The dude can’t throw a 12 yard out route and you think they are going to pay him? Lol. They could pay a 1st round pick that actually has arm talent, 4 years of salary for what dak wants to get paid in one year. And dak sucks!

Ok dude. He is a 4th round qb, it’s expected for him to fail. I can clearly see he is the worst qb on the field in I’d guess 95% of the games since he’s been in the league. In fairness to Dak….he has been saddled with bottom tier QB coaches and OCs his whole career. We know JG's track record, I'm baffled that KMoore (w/o experience) is in Dak's ear now. He is set to fail and it will get worse when KMoore becomes interim HC.

Can't throw a 12 yard out? There are legitimate points of discussion with Dak, but if this is an example of what you call discussion you really don't belong in the discussion. In this particular game, Dak certainly wasn't outstanding, but he wasn't remotely bad either. Considering how heavy the pass rush was and how often he got hit just as he released the ball, it's amazing he only got sacked once, that he didn't throw any INT's, and frankly that he didn't get hurt. The man was hit over and over, and some were pretty big hits.

That's 11 QBs already. There is also Wentz and Goff, but I know this board thinks they suck - so even with keeping them out, that's 11 teams with known franchise QBs. It's a myth pushed by ignorant fans that it is SO DIFFICULT to find your franchise guy. You're a believer in Dak, genius, so we went from an undrafted franchise QB, to a 4th round franchise QB. You're still suggesting it's difficult? It's not. Not every team is a freakin' Browns or Dolphins.

Now, give me a list of elite defenses that stuck around for longer than a couple seasons before FA ripped them apart.

Elite QBs are able to carry the offense and overcome bad team play in a tight game. Dak may not have been the reason for the loss yesterday, but he did not make enough plays with his arm to be considered an elite QB.

This is a QB you are ALWAYS looking for a replacement for. He's middling, he's never elite, he's never going to get you to the big dance. We missed our chance on winning a SB with him while his contract was cheap and not putting elite all around him because that's exactly what he'll need to win it all in this league. Stars would have to align, defense would have to be the best. It's easier to find your franchise QB in this league than it is to build a top 3 defense and keeping that defense together and not have it tore apart in FA.

Thats because of bad contracts, what did Cowboys eat that year ? 25 million in dead cap or something .... It was sad even as an Eagles fan to see. Im an Eagles fan first , but if they aint winning Id rather see it go to the East .... well just not the skins. I have close friends of all teams. That is the most BS thing I've read. How many legit "franchise" QB's are there right now that have panned out? You have got to have a high 1rst rounder and a lot of luck to find one.

it is time to move on.Time to move on from multiple threads saying the same thing from the same people .Dak is part of the problem but hes so far down the list in terms of priority changes that need to take place. By my calcualtions he some where around the 5th most important change that needs to happen.

Upgrade at DL probably 3 out of the 4 positions
LB are over rated
Secondary is horrid the only one worth a crap is jones and he isnt very good either IMO
DC coordinator needs replaced the scheme is horrible and Kris Richard has blended in well he sucks too
HC is garbage
Aging over rated OL always hurt
our QB and WR both are positions that need to step up. Too many dropped passes and too many passes that are off target. Yes they should be caught in some cases but if Dak puts in a better spot there would be no argument.

Lastly this is a stupid undisciplined team as it has been off and on through Garrett's tenure

Prescott missed on some throws, but he had no time. He got mugged all game long. Not to mention the drops. There were some bad throws, but I read he averaged 1.3 seconds to throw. It's a miracle we were able to run the ball. The holes were tiny holes.
But this was another horrible game by the defense. Regardless of the offense or what you choose to blame on Dak, the defense is bad.
