why is everyone acting surprised? The knowledgeable fans on this board has been saying this for years. Ex Cowboys have said it. Players for other teams have said it. Talking heads on TV have said it. The only people that can't seem to grasp it are the people in charge.

I think it's becoming clear that Garrett's stamp is all over this organization. He's a conservative, no frills, passive style HC and that clearly is reflective in how we play on both sides of the ball. How many teams have to come out and say how vanilla and predictable we are on both sides of the ball to get this?

There has been one constant throughout all of this............... the HC.

Becoming clear? It has been clear for years and years now. We don't gameplan, adjust or scheme. Our offense and defense are ridiculously easy to figure out and has been spoken on many times by players and coaches.

Darnold was the third overall pick for a reason.

He’s also a second year player on a terrible team. Darnold’s career completion percentage is under 60%. You can’t elevate Darnold to make Dak look better. Dak looked worse than the Jets’ bad QB yesterday.

Time and time again players (both opposing players and former Cowboys players) keep coming out and saying how predictable our playcalling and coaching staff is and Jerry still decides to keep theses coaches around. This coaching staff is the most pathetic coaching staff in the NFL and Jerry keeps making excuses for them. :lmao2::lmao2:
There was one play early on where elliot was to sweep to the right ,
and Romo said it looked like the jets knew it was coming!
most of the jets moved that direction as the ball was snapped.
So I can see 1 or 2 guys reading and reacting, but not most of the defense, and not that quickly.
They somehow know what plays we are running about 60% of the time.

Just another example of having the same game plan regardless of opponent. It's the Garrett way. "Just push them that way, that way, that way." Execute..

Has any coach in recent history done less with more than Garrett? We're hearing the same thing from opponents about this coaching staff that we heard 10 years ago when the Ravens turned the lights out on Texas stadium.

I think people are ignoring how bad this Jets team really is. Who are their receivers? Who is their TE? They have Bell but no offensive line at all. Sacked 10 times by Philly last week. They scored a total of 2 offensive TDs all year, but scored 3 in one half against Dallas. They have two guys on that defense, no allstar LBs. The Cowboys got beat up by one of the worst teams in the league - a really bad team. And they were outcoached again!

I am hearing excuses like they had injuries. Okay, but the Jets are a bad team. Their offensive line is bad without injuries. The Cowboys lost because the Jets, despite a 0-4 season played with more intensity and desire to win.

Are Jimmy's arent that good. We shouldnt have had to do anything exotic to beat the Jets. Outside of Bell, they are talent poor on offense. But there offensive players beat pur defensive players to the point that we would have needed something exotic

In this age of parity, the difference in talent between the best team and the worst team isn't as big as what the records show. The 30th best quarterback in the NFL is still the 30th best quarterback on the planet. If you know exactly what people are going to do and where they will be on most snaps, that's a huge advantage that marginal differences in talent probably can't overcome.

Let me get this straight. They did what they do, which in part is stopping the run? Yet, the team isn’t stopping the run?

Simpletons again focusing on scheme when execution is the problem. I’m going to bet every team does what they do week to week.
