Every position on the roster has been upgraded with 1st round draft picks. LB, D-line twice (plus paid one), secondary has Byron Jones and a couple decent guys that were borderline 1st round. Offensive lineman def has them, rb yep good there, wr made the trade for amari.......guess what position hasn’t been touched? Yep, your beloved golden child’s position hasn’t been. Ole #4. If anybody thinks he is getting a contract without a deep playoff run (which I doubt they even go to playoffs cause eagles are better than them. Hell I doubt they win more than 7 games to be honest)......but if anybody thinks Dak Prescott has $30million a year waiting on him you should prob find another team to root for because you are clueless about where and how the cowboys are and are not spending their money.

The dude can’t throw a 12 yard out route and you think they are going to pay him? Lol. They could pay a 1st round pick that actually has arm talent, 4 years of salary for what dak wants to get paid in one year. And dak sucks!

I’m tired of hearing about this dak is a leader crap. Dak has never led a football to anything important. A week 4-5 #1 ranking before playing bama is for the tv people to sell the game. That’s why miss st lost 2-3 more games after that. Dak is trash and we just gotta deal it with it this year.

Real cowboy fans will think big picture. Dak fans will think about dak. Figure out what you are fellas

If they win? Absolutely, I would admit to being wrong. Dak would have to be surrounded of the ghost of the 85 bears and 2000 ravens defense to get there. But yes sir, if he proves me wrong, I will eat my words happily (I’m a cowboy fan first and foremost)

You said he wouldn't get paid, nothing about winning. Jerry just over paid for a RB, one of the most replaceable positions in the game and you doubt Jerry will pay Dak?

it is time to move on.Time to move on from multiple threads saying the same thing from the same people .Dak is part of the problem but hes so far down the list in terms of priority changes that need to take place. By my calcualtions he some where around the 5th most important change that needs to happen.

Upgrade at DL probably 3 out of the 4 positions
LB are over rated
Secondary is horrid the only one worth a crap is jones and he isnt very good either IMO
DC coordinator needs replaced the scheme is horrible and Kris Richard has blended in well he sucks too
HC is garbage
Aging over rated OL always hurt
our QB and WR both are positions that need to step up. Too many dropped passes and too many passes that are off target. Yes they should be caught in some cases but if Dak puts in a better spot there would be no argument.

Lastly this is a stupid undisciplined team as it has been off and on through Garrett's tenure

All the positions you mentioned have been upgraded. Upgrade the qb

I already posted multiple teams that have had franchise QBs for a decade.

And you need to use that brain, I'm sure the brain cells haven't been firing for a while - I want you to NAME me multiple elite defenses int he modern league that has stuck around for more than 3 years. The last one that lasted a while was the 2000s Steelers defense. You had the legion of boom that was a flash in the pan, 3 of the players are retired now, while others are with different teams.

You're not understanding what I am saying - there is no "franchise elite defense" - you have AT MOST a 2-3 year window with a great defense, if you're lucky. Yet, I can already point to 11 teams with franchise QBs and a few other teams with hopeful young QBs that are looking promising right now. Franchise QB is a lot easier to find than finding MULTIPLE players for your defensive system that stick around long enough or stay healthy long enough for you to win a Super Bowl. Welcome to FA, fan. It's not the early 90s anymore.

Yeah, we need to upgrade all those positions when we have to hand out a gigantic contract to Dak in the offseason.

Pretty sure our entire defense was terrified of one of the best passers that’s ever lived and therefore there running back had a pretty easy day to get 4 touchdowns. He went for what 107 yards or something. Mostly on short fields. Big deal.

Dak is a 25m quarterback as he sits now. Still suffers from throwing behind or above the reciever way to often. Yesterday was just an ugly game for him accuracy wise granted the majority of them should have been caught. Still doesn't take away from the issue.

You wonder why we hardly ever throw quick slant routes?

However I still think he is good enough to carry us deep into the playoffs with the talent around him.
