This season reminds me of 2010

High expectations coming off a blowout road loss in the playoffs. Team was in a bunch of early games against good teams but lost all of them. Romo got hurt but they weren't winning with him anyway. Then they got blown out in prime time and Wade got canned. I think if they don't win Sunday Garrett doesn't survive the bye.

Yeah me too. To be fair it reminds me of every season following a small taste of success the year before. (In the Garrett era)

And every time he pulls some bs right before the axe should drop. Did it last year too. I don't know if it won't happen again.

The offense had leads in a couple of those games and the defense blew it. Specifically The Vikings game and then the giants game romo was injured in.

The offensive line basically should have got Romo killed in the first half vs the titans, sacked 6 times and took more of a beating than dak did yesterday and hung in there to bring them back and get the lead...A terrible penalty on marc columbo for falling to the ground after chest bumping jason witten set the titans up with great field position to win the game and of course they did.

Romo threw a game winning TD on the final play at was week 1 which was wiped out with a holding on Alex Barron. Before the half Garrett insisted on running a play with like 7 seconds left before halftime, wade told him not to and he did anyway and tashard choice fumbled a swing pass, washington picked it up and scored...it was their only td of the night. Wade tells that story in his book...he literally told Garrett not to run a play and he did anyway.

Miles austin was on pace to have an incredible year until romo was injured. Had romo stayed healthy they would have won the giants game and had a chance to turn that season around with jax the next week.

kitna was horrendous against jax and gb.

this season is nothing like that season, dallas corners specifically mike jenkins kept getting beat in man to man. When pasqualoni took over he started playing cover 4 constantly and it helped.

I dont think Garrett gets fired at 3-4. I want him to but we went 3-5 last year and nothing happened.

Maybe if we lost by a fifty burger, but its doubtful. Ive heard no speculation about Marinelli getting canned. Can we make that a thing as well?

Great memory and recap. I flew out to Dallas for that Titans nightmare. The Columbo penalty was an absolute joke as the refs screwed Dallas once again. Sadly, pretty much every year we have had some success is followed by absolute disappointment. Garrett must go!

yep that was a new penalty that year and If i remember correctly the call on columbo was the only time they called it all year on anyone....Columbo basically ran into the end zone after a td to celebrate and chest bumped jason witten and then lost his balance and fell down....it was a penalty to go to the ground for a celebration.....that was 15 yards on the kickoff that helped the titans win.

today whole teams are laying on the ground celebrating after every stop on defense.

Could it also look like 2008? Didn’t we start that year 3-0 as well?

that season swung on the romo hand injury. The loss to the Rams was huge. 1-2 without Romo.

The loss at arizona where the punt was blocked for a td to win and romo was injured was huge also. A blown game in pittsburgh also.

Romo took a shot in the back in week 15 the final win at the stadium over the giants on SNF, Fred Robbins hit romo in the back with his helmet and he was never right again that year. He struggled to throw the ball against baltimore and then they got outclassed in Philly.

one of the most difficult seasons to watch ever it just was gut wrenching.

I would rather watch at home. I feel better not contributing anything from my wallet to the Jones Cartel.

if you buy a ticket on the secondary market you are not contributing to jerry jones. You are contributing to a scalper, jones already got his money may 1st from the holder of the psl.

I’m contributing to neither.
