and yet, here you are, creating a thread whining and complaining about others whining and complaining. You could instead have created a meaningful thread about the game
This is the same predictable attack response to a poster calling people out for being either overly negative or trolling behaviors.

The difference is this guy is calling out fans to themselves. The fans who are whining are crying about the team to other fans. So trying to draw parallels between the two is missing the point or purposely trying to redirect.

The OP does have a point. How many Zeke is overpaid, Dak is an average QB troll threads do we need? It’s the same trolls over and over crying. If anyone even tries to create a logical thread talking football it will become troll jacked on the first page from the usual crew.

This place has become toxic. Even if we were winning it wouldn’t change much. The trolls have infested this place.

If we are losing to the Eagles, our fans should be shouting this. It'd be funny, and it'd show on National Telly the displeasure of our fans towards Garrett.

Haha.. I love soccer fans. These people make themselves apart of the game with this stuff. I wish football has such passion...,minus the hooligans of course. Philly has enough of them.

Yes, every fan has a right to complain, whine, attack players and coaches, and express his or her displeasure, but I find it sad when I have to go to the news zone to read anything about the Eagles game.
It’s one thing to be unhappy for a couple of days after a loss, but as the weekend approaches, the Fan Zone is nothing more than the Drama Zone.

I’ll express my gratitude now for the genius posts that remind me I don’t have to visit Cowboys zone. Thank You!

It’s just sad that a couple days before the Eagles come to town, all the threads are about everything but the game. I’ve seen 5-11 seasons when fans still cared about the upcoming game.

If the NFL becomes more like a soccer league, we're going to need a new football league to start up for grown men to play and watch.

Same here. Why can't our fans be like that? It's entertainment in it of itself.

As if "calling out posters" isn't itself an "attack response.

The difference is this guy is calling out fans to themselves. The fans who are whining are crying about the team to other fans. So trying to draw parallels between the two is missing the point or purposely trying to redirect.

There is no difference. It's nice to see that you clearly don't get it at all.

The OP does have a point. How many Zeke is overpaid, Dak is an average QB troll threads do we need? It’s the same trolls over and over crying. If anyone even tries to create a logical thread talking football it will become troll jacked on the first page from the usual crew.

Here's a thought, go create a 'Happy Place' forum, where only positive comments are allowed, and censorship runs rampant.

Make it so that you see only what you can bear to see. Where you can only bring up how many wins the Cowboys have, but not that 'other column'!

Talk about touchdown passes but not turnovers. Bring up sacks the defense gets, but not the ones the offense allows.

Sanitize and censor it to where you have things just the way you like it, where 'everything is awesome'.

Your own 'Happy Place'.

It's not one game.

It's 9 years of the same types of stuff under this coach, two decades under this owner/GM.

Eventually for most fanbases, runs like that will take their toll. That's sports fandom. I mean note the tone of the board when we were 3-0. Sure, there were some dissenters still but there were lots of posts about who was playing well, impressions of Moore thus far, are we really the best team in the NFC, etc.

And then the bottom fell out and we've looked terrible for at least two straight weeks to where we are 3-3 in a season that this franchise desperately tried to sell to us fans as a SB year. It's not looking like a SB year at all and if they lose on Sunday, it might not be looking like a playoff year either.

And you think this board should be full of positive talk and analysis?

:muttley:Whining about other fans whining; always a good look.

Last time I checked, there’s not much left to say about this game until Sunday...when they’re actually playing the game.

Speaking of this has anyone noticed that once the Cowboys looked truly terrible the last two weeks against GB and Jets, Rockport has stopped posting?

This literally makes zero sense and there is no difference between what he did and what you feel is whining about the team. Frankly, people complaining about a team that has lost three straight, the last two where they got their brains beat in to start the game, is largely perfectly acceptable fan behavior. What fanbase would be happy, what fan forum would be daisies and donuts after this stretch? None.

What's weird and bizarre is logging onto a site to make a post that you aren't happy with the negative posters. One, its hardly going to change the tone or attitude of a forum. Only the team can really change the attitudes of a fanbase with wins. Two, if it bothers you so much, why would you even post here? I avoid certain message boards that I used to frequent because of the tone and direction the board went. I didn't show up and whine or complain about how I didn't like what the posters were saying. I just stopped going because I was smart enough that my whining wouldn't change anything and it would make me look like a baby and petty.

And thirdly, if you want the tone of the board to change, you are really yelling at the wrong entity here. It's not the fans. It's the team you should be pissed at.

DAL can't find a way to win against a team w/ out it's starting QB. Can't win against a team that couldn't stop the run and missing their number one WR at home. They couldn't find a way to beat a winless team.

This team is garbage. Show me inspired play and I'll show you an inspired forum.

Can't enjoy this game. We either win and know we are going to end up with 7 or 8 wins and JG or lose and have a 4 game losing streak. While it might get Garrett out of here it's a far cry from all the Sb talk a few weeks ago.
