NOW is the time IMO...... risk for either side waits until after the season coz if you look at to the first six, his value can go either way, up or down.

32-34 million is what he should get

Agree but I think it's down to this.......short-term deal ( 3-5 years) =$35M range vs long-term deal ( 5-7 years ) = $40M range. In other words, Dak people are saying I'll sign a 7 years deal but it will cost more per year. I don't wanna get locked into a 7 year deal of $35M being a $40M+ QB by year 3 or 4.

I can see $30+ million but anything close or over Wilson and the season he is having, is just lunacy.... Yes he had a bad day after falling behind but that truly falls on the defense for not being able to stop Miller.... Other than that Wilson has been the best he has ever been even after signing his $35 million contract.... The difference is Wilson does not even have half the supporting cast we have on offense.... Sorry, I like Dak but not enough to make him the richest player in the NFL.....

If we can sign him for a modest contract, I am all for it, but I still have issues of top 3 money even after his dismantling of the Eagles....

Pretty sure even he has admitted he doesn't deserve Wilson/Roger's money.....unless he wins a Super Bowl. This why most say his yearly average will likely be somewhere between Goff and Wentz unless Jerry/Stephen insists he sign a 7 year deal.

If he signs for 7 years than I would give him the 40. In 3 years that won't even crack top 5-8 in the league maybe even top 10.

If it was simple he would have signed already. We don't know why a deal hasn't been done. Even Stephen Jones' predictions about a deal getting done haven't been true, so why are we listening to anyone else's predictions?
