I totally believe Dak Prescott has hit a new level. I always believed he had the talent to tools to make it in the NFL. When you're from a top-10 program. Coming out of college. Sure you have talent you have tools. But what they teach you is the Polish and The Grooming. I believe that's what Prescott was lacking. Now that he has the proper teachers , tutoring, coaching. I believe he can become an elite quarterback. If he had received this tutoring in school I think he would have been a top 5 draft pick. Go Cowboys go Prescott.

Great post ....... Don't let these idiot trolls get to you

I agree that he is on another level. His velocity on his throws are better. His accuracy is better. All the which is helping his numbers look better. As long as he has Cooper on the field he plays at a good to high level. He has grown into a QB that is top 5 for THIS season but overall probably top ten. He is in for a good year as long as T Smith and Cooper are healthy

Look at this guy acting soooo self important. Lol the online delusion of some of y'all based on your post being unclear enough that it could be took the way I interpreted it. No offense but you're not big enough for anybody to care if you do or don't answer the post superstar.

guy posts strangely most the time. took me far too long engaging with him to realize.

Then how do you explain 31-3 against Green Bay and that nonsense against the Jets?

Dak is an average QB.

Dak is a good QB that needs elite talent around him in order to succeed. He’ll never be Tom Brady. We’ve seen him start 58 games for Dallas now. He is what he is.

I don't know if he'll ever be elite, but he doesn't have to be to take us to the top. His mechanics are better this year and he has more confidence. He's making throws into tighter windows he wouldn't have even tried in the past. He ain't fumbling as much. That's always a good thing.

I have noticed him backpedaling in the pocket a few times when he should step up in the pocket. He quit doing that in the second half last year, but it seems to have returned some. It's led to a couple sacks and extra lost yardage, but he ain't doing it as much as early last year.

So overall, he's vastly improved his game. I don't see him being a QB that elevates those around him, but I see him as a QB that elevates himself for big moments.

and that's fine. We have been winning with him. Most teams would kill to find a talent like him. HARD TO FIND.

Cracks me up. Dak could lead the league in passing and rushing touchdowns, and some on here would never acknowledge that he's a top QB. Statistically, he's a stud, yet some will just NEVER concede.

It's a mystery.

It's not really a mystery why they hate him so much

YUP its astonishing really. He even broke Roger Staubachs rushing TD record the other night lol...no one mentioned this. The guy is in his 4th year lol..and he is already knocking down Dallas Cowboy team records lol...YET "he's just a game manager." THAT DOG JUST WONT HUNT! Me and you see the facts. Facts are, he isn't perfect, but has gotten better each year and has proven he plays big in big moments..he craves it. That right there IS SPECIAL. Against Philly, it was on full display. He was dropping dimes from every imaginable throwing platform. AND I thought " he can't make the accurate deep throw." LOL...

Anyone trying to debate with certain posters that Dak is above average... You're wasting your time. According to them... anything the Cowboys fail to accomplish, is because of Dak. Anything the Cowboys do accomplish, is in spite of Dak. Try to remember, you're attempting to debate football with people who have probably never played a down of organized football in their life.

I agree, people forgot Dak was a raw 4th round prospect who was supposed to sit for a couple years and get "nfl" coaching.

By year 2 he was being treated like a finished product.

We are just scratching the surface of his abilities.

If you were patient you knew he had the work ethic and heart to become a great QB. We are begin to reap the rewards of that hard work.
