Zeke all day, every day. Aaron Jones is the beneficiary of play calling exploiting a matchup. Something our coaches rarely do with our running backs. They were abusing Anthony Hitchens in that game last night. Aaron Jones has less dimension than Zeke.

Jones and it’s not even close. He’s way faster than Zeke.

That’s crazy.

Jones is a really nice all purpose back but he has shown he can never be a 20 carry a game guy — he has missed significant time both of the last two seasons. He isn’t built to take a pounding.

Jones is like a deluxe version of the Patriot’s James White.

It's already been mentioned, it's about consistency and durability. Every year there are a couple of RBs that have great to good years, but that level is only sustained for a season or two. Just a few years ago, Jordan Howard put up "elite" rushing stats, but he couldn't sustain that level of performance and is now part of a rbbc. Demarco Murray had a couple of "elite" level years, but didn't have the consistency either. A couple years ago Jay Ajayi was top 10 in yds from scrimmage, how's he doing today? Steelers think they had Bell's replacement with Connor, but he's been injured and isn't helping the team. CJ Anderson had a couple of good years, but has struggled to stay on a roster.

Zeke has shown the talent, ability and thus far the durability to be central piece for an offense for many years. Jones is having a great year, but could well be their next Eddie Lacy with one or two good years and have them looking for their next RB sooner than later.

15 mil a year lol.
This guy Jones is impressive, In KC game last nite he was the difference, with 2 catches out of backfield
that he turned into long td runs.
Nobody could catch him.
As we saw against us, he can run thru the line and do the tough running too.
On top of that from what they said last nite , he is also a RKG type guy , no trouble off field, and highly motivated to be the best he can be.
So I for one would rather have him over elliot and it isnt even close.
He is a game changer and capable of big plays.

Aaron Jones is a good player, and the Packers got a STEAL in the 5th round
He's stronger than he looks. he's got solid burst. His pass protection has improve greatly (better than Jamal Williams)

But zeke is stronger, faster, better breakaway speed. I'd take Zeke

the big difference is how they're being used in their offenses.
Aaron Jones gives LaFleur/Rodgers the flexibility of being able to run solid receiver routes.

IMO, Zeke can do the same, but Moore/Dallas seem to prefer to use him in a more traditional RB role

Zeke has had one elite season, right? That's less than a couple example you gave.

There are always some RBs with good stats for a couple of years here and there but the elite RB tend to have good stats every year.

Green Bay has had multiple RBs that had a really good year, but rarely have they had one that had good stats for multiple consecutive years.

I'll take the one who can get me 4.5 yards per carry for the least amount of money. Its not about rushing titles. Its about allocation of resources and winning.

He doesn't face stacked boxes and if a must yard or 2 is needed, Elliott has the strength, speed & power to get it. Jones isn't very big, only 208 lbs.
