I am glad Cowboys Dumbo GM did not make that trade. Minkah Fitzpatrick was the only 1st round value safety to trade for and we did not.

Play Donovan Wilson and sign Eric Berry to a conditional contract.

Berry doesn't play ST. Why he won't be signed.

1st and next years 2nd?

yeah i would have pulled that trigger for another young (23/24) year old player fixinf to hit his prime...

People forget the draft is still a GAMBLE on talent not a guarantee (see taco) of a starter or even pro bowl player....

One in the hand is worth two in the bush

Having Awuzie & Lewis as starters, with less depth behind them is more of a gamble, then giving up a 1st & two 2nd's for a safety who won't improve our DT promblems which will be worse after also losing Collins/Woods in free agency.

That's a little rich.

Thats alot rich. Ramsey got two 1st & 4th. One is franchise shut-down CB the other plays SS. Jets were never getting that price so they weren't really interested in trading him.

So glad we didn't "win" that one.

It looks like they've made a philosophy switch, and now want to sign free agents and don't value picks as much.

2nd for Thomas, 1st for Cooper, 1st and something for Adams. And surprise signings if our guys. Collins and Jaylon.

I wonder if the CBA is significantly changing, so that draft picks aren't as valuable.

So the stories about them wanting 2-1’s plus are BS. He is a star. Would have been worth it.

Anyone in the NJ/NY are will tell you right now the jets fans are flipping out over this team. It’s bad.

The only way they could save a little face was by “fleecing” another team. It wasn’t about so much making themselves better but also about trying to look good to mask their poor season.

So glad we didn’t go for it. Now the jets have a disgruntled player and locker room.

I think were just trying to get better with proven commodities at specific positions. We can draft OL but DT and safeties elude us.

Yup. Today was yet another instance where the front office wasn't committed to getting a safety, and was just trolling the fanbase. Or some say.
