When it comes to the Cowboys , you can throw out the record of an opponent. Just like if it was a division game . everyone wants to beat America's Team. When we lose to teams like the Jets. I basically say to myself. I love the Cowboys. I very rarely watch a bad football game. No matter who the opponent is. I know it's going to be a battle. That's why I think we can beat anybody out there. Just as I believe we can lose. When it comes to us Any Given Sunday is more than a cliche. It's life it's reality of being America's Team. I believe this is a playoff Super Bowl caliber team. I just believe we have to get it together at the right time. So when people say to me we don't win beat teams with a winning record. I kind of laugh to myself. Knowing we just played a team that played their best football of the season. Go Cowboys.

In a nutshell.

New Orleans, Green Bay, the odds of beating either one of these teams twice in the same season. Not likely. Even though I believe he could have beat them it was close we started late. I believe we started playing our best football. And it started with destroying the Eagles.

Every team gets up to play the Cowboys, every team wants to beat the Cowboys. This is no secret to anyone that follows the NFL so it should be no secret to the Cowboys. We know teams will not roll over for us yet we continuously come out flat.

Why the slow starts when we know everyone is gunning for us? What is it going to take for us to maintain that edginess needed to take on the weekly challenge of a motivated opponent? The answer and solution is long overdue.

Go Cowboys:flagwave:

Yep, and it's been that way since the 70's due to their popularity.

Which is why we cannot afford to settle for mediocre coaching. There is no way this organization should have given a middle of the road head coach this much time. A coach that proved for years that an injury to the QB position means we would not win games, we would not score TDs, and we would struggle to get FIRST downs. That should have sealed Garretts fate, but instead here we are. We STUMBLED into Dak Presscott...he saved a lot of jobs in Dallas. He was behind Kellen Moore on the depth chart and ONLY got a chance because we had no where else to turn when Moore got hurt. So where are we today...I contend the SAME thing would happen if Prescott got hurt.

I wouldn't say the Eagles played their best against us...or the Giants....or Miami....or even the Saints.
See I think they did.. we got their best without a doubt that just best isn't good.

Repeat the teams we have to beat. And that's just the way it is

Perhaps Dallas’s JV schemes allow teams to look their best? I believe that is the issue. This organization has no panache around the league.
Obviously it plays a little part. Just a little

do you really believe that teams that play Dallas say to themselves, "we have to really bring our best this week because this is "Americas team". Most of the kids playing today probably dont even know that moniker from the 70s still exists and if they do probably just roll their eyes when someone brings it up. If you poll the players they would probably say New England is Americas team because they are in the Super Bowl every year. Teams have up and downs through the season. Teams get up for a game for different reasons and when teams play Dallas, the "Americas Team" reason is so far down the list you probably wont find it.

Wasn't he up for Coach of the Year in 2017. He's not as bad as some people think. But worse than some people think also. Yep middle of the pack

Considering they've played better against other teams, I'm sticking with my assessment.
I really don't think they played better against better teams. Just different situation. Just my opinion

You're welcome to your opinion. But you would be wrong in your assessment. I know firsthand. If people thought like you did. We would have no NFL rivalries
