we dont need to be IMPRESSED, every game has its own story..the goal is to win a by any means necessary.. they got the jib done, and BTW I see teams all over the league that have these types of unimpressive wins..good teams do struggle against lessor talented teams, it happens.. I saw it all this past weekend..a W thats it, thats the goal..

games have funny way of being week to week as the games unfold for both teams differently then most anticipate, odd bounces, refs, weather, weird stuff, and mistakes come into it..just because a team say NE looks lie they should easily beat us down, doesnt mean that game will go as planned for them..

For the purposes of sleep, I would have been happy and impressed had the Cowboys scored 28 first quarter points. I am happy Dallas took a few punches and answered the bell in the fourth quarter. I'd rather see the team figure out how to win then pummel a bunch of bad teams and get beat by good ones. The New Jersey Giants wanted to win that game and they are a divisional opponent which makes them a little tougher to beat. We can talk impressed if Dallas can string a few wins together.

Where were these threads when the Eagles Barry squeaked last the Bears this weekend?

A win is a win. Some of them start out ugly. At the end of the season, it doesn’t matter.
Totally agree. But it was still kind of sloppy. To me it just makes it a little bit more boring the most exciting thing was the cat. And gallop. Oh the tight end 40-yard run. Oh nevermind Cooper 40-yd Crossing touchdown yes it was a good game for the Cowboys overall but still sloppy

The first half was just horrible by the offense. Dak made 2 mistakes, dropped passes, penalties. No excuse for that. However, they turned everything around in the 2nd half and any win is a good win.

I think the 4Q was good. They dominated that. 3Q was not pretty.

There were actually a lot of things to be impressed with last night besides the shooting ourselves in the foot (whats new) and penalties (again, what's new).

Defense looked great. I know everyone is going to come in and say "Giants offense is terrible" but its not hard to see that this D is improving. QB pressures, sacks, forced fumbles, interceptions. They are getting better. Sean Lee looked great, Jaylon and D-Law are playing like the paid players we knew they'd be. Michael Bennett and Quinn are making noise. Collins is getting better. J-Lew, once again, always makes some kind of crazy good play. X. Woods with another interception. I could go on and on, but they are playing much better and the blitzes look great as well (good play calling from Kris and Rod, surprisingly)

Offense besides Zeke though... yeah I'm not impressed. Dak and his WR's didn't really look great at all last night. O-line got a lot of big holes for Zeke (or it could just be that the Giants Dl-line sucks), but sometimes they were eh...

A win is a win and they needed it last night. That said it was not a good win at all. The Giants are terrible and that game was up for grabs in the 4th. Bad penalties, Cobb drops, bad turnovers, ST screw ups, and strange play calling was all on display. I will also say I think other than a couple big plays the secondary stunk. Chido is so overrated in these parts. Lewis shouldn’t play over Brown he should play over Chido. I think NE is going to expose these clowns in a couple weeks.

Was anyone impressed with last night?

You should start a movement to add "Impressive Wins" to the stats column.

Why not use a combination of media voting / computer system to rank all 32 teams, and then a 4 team playoff for the championship?

what did we do, get some new fans?

everyone knows Giants Cowboys is a boxing match. Records dont matter, stats dont matter, those two teams beat the crap out of each other.

Alll Cowboy fans have seen bad Giant teams beat Good Cowboy teams and vice versa.

Anytime we beat the GIants is a good win.

No matter what they tell you, no matter who you listen to to get opinions. Cowboys/Giants is always tough, its actually more rare when its not.

This was a foregone conclusion. It was a lose-lose game. No way to satisfy the fans in this game.

Oh I think if it was a 35-0 blowout, with the Cowboys leading from the get-go, few penalties and holding Barkley in check like they did, most real fans would have been satisfied.

Too bad it wasn't a big a win as the final score would indicate.

I do still think the team is improving here and there, Lawrence seems to be more active, Zeke finding more holes and Dak making throws when he absolutely had to. So I'm not too disappointed, it's a division game, on the road, those are usually tough, no exception here...

You sure? Dallas would win only 2-3 of those a year.

Maybe you should start a Unicorn and Rainbows league where Dallas wins every week.

It s a damn good thing we played the Giants because if we played a good team with last nights performance , coming off a bye...we would have gotten a beat down.. Once again undisciplined, played down to an inferior opponent...turning the ball over...giving up big plays to extend drives. We should have been razor sharp coming off the bye and pounded them into the ground by halftime. No way it should have been that close that deep into the game. Can't play like that against any of the remaining opponents..Including the Skins as they will play likes it's their Superbowl.

Actually we have the team to beat the Patriots. I am concerned about the coaching matchup but we have better talent.

Couldn't put away the rookie QB and bottom dwelling defense until into the fourth quarter.

I also noticed for the first time last night that I am developing a dislike for the defense. Not for their play but for the celebrations after damn near every play.

Seemed to be a little smelling themselves going on in the some of the pressers after the game.

Got the win so at least they smell good for a week.

How was that game enjoyable?

Uh, maybe start with another addition to the Win Column? Linebacker depth looked solid without a starter? Defensive line looked pretty good? We won?

Yeah, there are always concerns. Yet, you play the team that's in front of you, on your schedule. We went into New Jersey and left with a win.

I'll take a 17 point win in a sloppy game any day. Like you said, a win is a win.

I'm not the one throwing a temper tantrum that the Cowboys didn't win pretty enough for my liking sweetie.

That was Sean Lee out there not some JAG playing well. Lee would be going to the HOF if he could have stayed healthy more.
