If anyone wonders why Garrett needs to go, this game is why

It was sad to watch how undisciplined this team is. Dumb dumb penalties over and over again. And it was leaders like Jaylon, Lawrence, Quinn, ect....ect.... doing a lot of it.

And Garrett sat there and did NOTHING but shake his head and pat fannies.

Dallas even came out at halftime and NOTHING changed. And the Cowboys were talking smack all game long like they had something to brag about. All this with 3 and 5 point leads at times.

After the game all the announcers were disgusted at how much talent the Cowboys had, but how sloppy they play. A few guys directly referencing Garrett and the coaching.

I think you'll find the score changed after half time, significantly.

10 penalties for over 100 yards. Against decent teams = LOSS. Garrett has never one time had his team prepared after a bye. In fact, I fear if Dallas has the 1st or 2nd seed in the playoffs because they will be off a week and as usual Garrett will SUCK that his team will look pathetic afterwards. It is high time they get rid of him and his culture.

Were you impressed last night with how we played?
On occasion. No team in this league is dominant on every down, you don't have to be. We got the W, that's all that ever matters. Yes, i'd like us to be more disciplined but it cost us nothing. Maybe against better quality opposition it would have but we weren't playing anybody except the Giants. You can't beat who you aren't playing.

I also think you are under rating the fact that there was a divisional rivalry at play. NFC East wins never come easy, we are doing a great job in recent times over our divisional foes.

What does a rival have to do with Dak not accounting for a safety standing right in front of him and just assuming a guy is going to be open

Not impressed at all actually. The NFC East has been dismal recently. Save for Philly two years.

I dont care who you play, if you play like that it shows a lack of leadership and discipline. This is not the first time. Jets and packers it was just as sloppy.

I can't argue that this team is not disciplined. While some penalties cannot be avoided, no one is perfect, stupid penalties like the OT lining up off the LOS should never happen. Some of those retaliation penalties were stupid too. The penalty on the sideline after the hit on Jones was BS too. It was a legal hit and Hernandez had no right to go and push the Cowboys player like that. HE started it and should have been flagged immediately. How that wound up a penalty on Dallas is curious. But the other penalties involving Hernandez were stupid. All of them could have been avoided. Garrett should have been in someone's face after that. Even though the game was won at that point, he had to let the team know that stupid mistakes cannot be tolerated.

I agree that a team, coming off of a bye, should look significantly sharper and more prepared than Garrett coached teams...and this has indeed been a pattern that is beyond disturbing. I think Jerry’s post game interview spoke volumes, particularly his choice of words “winning in spite of penalties and mistakes” or something akin to that. I think that’s a direct indictment of coaching, and Jerry was intentional in his comments. This team is poorly prepared, lacks discipline, and makes horrible in game mistakes that “get you beat” (another thing Jones said during his comments). That was the most damning comments I think I’ve heard come from Jerry’s mouth as it pertains to Garrett’s status beyond this season. That dude ain’t just on the hot seat... his butt is directly over a Bunsen burner.

Tell that to New England when they lost in Miami, what was it, 4 or 5 years in a row? Divisional rivalry has an effect.

Didnt hear the interview but it sounds like its really setting in for Jerry. Problem is all they have to do is go on a little roll and he will forget all of it.
