If anyone wonders why Garrett needs to go, this game is why

And this is exactly why.... Clapper needs to go.

10 penalties for 100 yards against better teams will post you an "L" on the right side of the column.
Against decent teams = LOSS. Garrett has never one time had his team prepared after a bye. In fact, I fear if Dallas has the 1st or 2nd seed in the playoffs because they will be off a week and as usual Garrett will SUCK that his team will look pathetic afterwards. It is high time they get rid of him and his culture.
Definitely need more of a disciplinarian that demands focus on every play.

Garrett needs to go because of the damage he has done in Dallas to the integrity of the franchise and the NFL.
The coordinators keep Garrett in a job despite his incompetence, and that's wrong.

I love what Moore is doing for the most part. The team fails in execution, discipline, and mental toughness.

OK, one week a poster says, garrett should throw the flag at refs more often, despite getting penalized...this week, the team sticks up against Hernandez (71) and shows emotion and everyone wants to let garrett go. no matter how he acts, he is going to get blamed....

IF you don't care, then you just don't care.

its not about "the overall quest of the season" its about, "did we win today and can i high five my chums at the tavern" thats it. they arent looking past that, its not "what is the overall record" its "I love the mediocrity and when they win, i cheer" mentality.

I can't argue that this team is not disciplined. While some penalties cannot be avoided, no one is perfect, stupid penalties like the OT lining up off the LOS should never happen. Some of those retaliation penalties were stupid too. The penalty on the sideline after the hit on Jones was BS too. It was a legal hit and Hernandez had no right to go and push the Cowboys player like that. HE started it and should have been flagged immediately. How that wound up a penalty on Dallas is curious. But the other penalties involving Hernandez were stupid. All of them could have been avoided. Garrett should have been in someone's face after that. Even though the game was won at that point, he had to let the team know that stupid mistakes cannot be tolerated.

Dumb penalties were going on all game. The moment the misconduct stuff started happening, Garrett should have handled it right then. It was Jaylon, our defensive team captain that was stirring it all up. And they were all talking smack. Garrett did NOTHING. At one point, scrubs on special teams started doing it too. Well if the captain does it, why not?

Pathetic. And a perfect example why Garrett is not HC material.

Exactly. Run of the mill, casual fans that at the end of the day, don't care one way or the other.

You're exactly right, but I would add they lack the knowledge of how to achieve greatness.

Can I see the hands raised of the posters that didn't think Garrett had to go before this game?

However, let's be fair here. Name the HC's that would have gotten their teams up after manhandling the only challenger to the division going into a bye week and watching film of that team in preparation. The only thing worse than that OL and those OT's is the Giants' DL. They're a train wreck of a team and they're one real weapon needs space to operate and that OL can't give him any.

I am not making excuses for Garrett, because I am not a fan, but do we think we're the only ones that know the real rough water of this schedule begins Sunday night with a team as good, if not better, than the Cowboys and another right behind that. One game at a time doesn't apply here. Every player on that team is thinking about the run they need against a tough schedule.

Teams rise to the occasion. Let's see how this team performs on SNF and the following week in NE because the coaching staff won't have to worry about getting the players up for these next two.

And while we're waiting, if that GB at LAC game is on NFLN this week, catch that replay. They should cut Rodgers.
You go Coach but for the record we play the Lions after Vikings. Patriots are the following week.

And Cowboys haven’t had discipline for 25 years now. Well, except for a brief period with Bill. Which is a trickle down effect from the top.

We are a talent dependent franchise. We will go as far as they take us.

This is becoming the Wade Phillips era. Players just doing whatever they want and focusing when they want to
Jmo, but it always has been that since JG took over. WP's firing woke the players up for a little while, but soon it was back to same old stuff. Again jmo.

It was sad to watch how undisciplined this team is. Dumb dumb penalties over and over again. And it was leaders like Jaylon, Lawrence, Quinn, ect....ect.... doing a lot of it.

And Garrett sat there and did NOTHING but shake his head and pat fannies.

Dallas even came out at halftime and NOTHING changed. And the Cowboys were talking smack all game long like they had something to brag about. All this with 3 and 5 point leads at times.

After the game all the announcers were disgusted at how much talent the Cowboys had, but how sloppy they play. A few guys directly referencing Garrett and the coaching.

The only person wondering is Garrett’s mother and she has already posted in this thread

What I saw yesterday didn't change my opinion about Garrett. In fact, it only made me more confident that he will be gone once the rest of the season plays out. It was a 5 point game late in the 4th quarter in a game they should have dominated vs. a bad coaching staff and rookie QB. Coming off a bye week!

This team hasn't won a road game against a good, non-NFC East opponent since 2016. To be honest, they haven't even been great on the road against the bad teams either.

I care...I just want to know if its left, right, center? its like fans on this board flip flop and just find something to complain about.....one week I need more of the undisciplined, next week why aren't we disciplined....

So, you decided to choose a road game, against a division rival, in which we won by multiple scores, as your proof that the Head Coach should be fired?

Roy you’re somehow reaching new levels.
Not in a good way.

Players have to do a better job of controlling their emotions, but Hernandez did a real good job of instigating and then letting the Cowboys players who reacted to it take the fall. Classic case of officials catching the second man.

The players only fear Jerry, nobody really respects Garrett except back ups and rookies on the edge of getting cut...
