And for the same reasons.
The Vikings are battling Green Bay for the division, while the Cowboys are battling Philadelphia.
But the prize in this contest is "confidence", with each team needing to know they are for real.
Minnesota has been very good, but the games they have lost led to speculation that nearly derailed their season about the quality of Kirk Cousins as their quarterback.
The Cowboys are still hoping they are one of the league's best, and they need to KNOW this heading into the toughest stretch of the season.
Sunday night will be a tell-tale sign to each club; and the repercussions of losing could very easily destroy the season for whomever fails, as doubts begin to creep in and the futures of coaches and players on the bubble begin to be decided.
Not to mention the respective division battles of each club.

Minnesota's best win is over philadelphia.

This is a pretty even game and Dallas is at home.
Minnesota hurt their team when they released Case Keenum and went after Kirk Cousins after Keenum took them to the NFC Championship game.
Cousins is talented but is having to learn "gunslinging", which the Vikings needed to cater to their receivers.
Keenum has been solid for the Commanders. He is likely their franchise quarterback now.

Case Keenum is nobodies franchise quarterback.

Isn't that most teams mindsets? Most weeks are must win games to stay alive for the playoffs.

Theilin is out. You cant let Diggs alone kill you. They're probably going to isolate him on Awuzie as much as possible.

Sometimes the games matter more than you think.
Any coach who ignores intangibles- "the human factor"- is missing half the battle.
Players need to believe in order to excel.

That loss to KC comes at good time. Before that they looked like SB contender to me. They ate up and spit out the Eagles. Looks like its gonna be great game.

Kirks a weird dude. Times i'll watch him and be like "this guys a can" or i'll watch him and be like "damn he can throw". He currently has 17 total touchdowns and only 3 picks, been playing good lately.

Felt a little bad for how poorly Washington handled him. They intentionally tried to sabotage him in 2017 (no offensive line upgrades, let 2 or there 3 productive receivers walk in free agency ) and he still put up 31 total touchdowns with 4,100 yards. That was a very underrated season for him given the circumstances

I think they are going to activate Josh Doctson for the first time this season sunday. They have tread well also.

its all about stopping cook like KC did though. Put them in 3rd and long and you can hit cousins with that offensive line.

Pressure Cousins and he'll be a train wreck. Dallas has to hold serve here or I don't see this team going anywhere this season.
