I hate that by giving him that contract now they are trapped , they should have Pollard replace him but won't do it.

I wouldn't go that far, but they do need to recognize how to use Zeke. Every time they run him to the outside on 3rd and 2 or 3 he gets cut down behind the line. Either he gets their before the pursuit or stop running him out there. Also, on 4th down, why was Zeke even in there? Put 5 WRs in there and make the Vikings cover them all. Barr was able to stay with Zeke on that easy out route. But I am pretty sure Cooper was open underneath on the opposite side of the field.

But as I said, the Cowboys are convinced Zeke is worth the $90 million they paid him and they are going to try to prove it even if it costs them games.

And btw, I am not saying Zeke is not still a good RB. He is, but he does not have the speed and quickness he once had. Its obvious.

Zeke is nothing but an avg running back now. If the o line does not give him big holes he does not have the shiftiness or speed to make things happen. He held out did not get in shape for paid now has no reason to get in shape. Like we did not see this coming when he started holding out. He shows his selfishness every year by getting in some sort of trouble or stirring things up with the holdout this year with a year left on a high end rookie deal.

All of those narratives about how Dak can't win if Zeke gets shut down and in the end it was relying on Zeke instead of Dak that cost us the game. I wish that we could have relied on Zeke but he wasn't getting it done tonight. The Cowboys O didn't pick up any first downs with the rush and yet this coaching staff decided to keep running the ball.

Garrrett is stubborn and prideful in his ways. He didn't want to change up the game plan even if he clearly see that it wasn't working.

Get him into the open field with an All Pro lineman ahead of him against a safety and he can get you 12 yards.

I was just thinking how much do I miss Ronald Leary. Williams is horrible. The play where Elliot lost yards (3 down I guess), Williams looked completely lost on who to block and left Fred trying to block William's man.

Not an expert in o-line, but for me Williams really sucks.

I see there are a lot of people in this thread that don't understand the Viks were selling out to stop the run.

Every great RB in history has had to face defenses selling out to stop the run. Because they were great backs and needed to be stopped. And most of them didn't have an Oline with multiple 1st round picks in front of them to do it.

He's not that good this year. Period. He was the 3rd bast back on the field tonight.

The O line was great on pass blocking, there were no holes tonight, they should have just focused on the pass and ran a damn screen play or two. Get pressure off of the backfield.

When you're 2-10 when Zeke has under 75 yards well you get the picture here bud and expect it weekly from all DC.
Vikes left all the receivers in single coverage and expect more of this the following months.
Colts showed the way last season really down to Dak and the Defense when defense play the above defense scheme for us to win.

And for those that are saying, "well the oline didnt block for him". Doesn't that kinda prove the point why you dont give a RB a gazillion dollars, because their performance relies on the oline?

So Zeke sucks if the line doesn't open any holes, so lets make Zeke the highest paid RB in the league...…..signed the homers, all 3 of them.
