What is wrong with our run game?

I think it's a problem with the coaching, tbh. The talent is there, clearly, between the OL and Zeke. But they're not blocking well, it seems

maybe the OL does not like zeke? put pollard in a see if some holes start opening up!
zeke got big money with the OL making it easy for him, so now they are showing him for who he really is lol.

I watched all of Aikman's games. Aikman HAD a great defense to help him get good field position (unlike Dak's D). And Aikman had Norv Turner calling his offense for his recievers.

Not sure why you highlighted my comment unless it was to further empathize my point. Yes, we had an all-time great defense as well as a HoF receiver and excellent TEs and #2/#3 receivers. And a HoF QB, of course.

Zeke is also a paid man now. He’s no Emmitt Smith.

Zeke looks like a fullback out there. Any other back you would start working in outside plays, pitching to the flat, screens— if the middle isn’t working. But zeke just looks slow.

So. Aikman had a great offensive coordinator, great head coach, Good receivers, Irvin was a stud. After Harper left free agency, Aikman didn't have that deep threat anymore,

cern--you hit it bullseye...our runblocking zone scheme has been figured out..we have to adjust to man on man smashmouth..or something...and what the heck is going on with our defense?...everyone is punching us in the mouth

Defenses are honing in on Zeke and Zeke just doesn't have that burst he used to

I missed all but the last 3 minutes of the game. Saw the highlites.

Zeke on the screen pass td is running against air and it looks like he's running through oatmeal.

That was a first impression, not knowing that it was another futile run effort.

"The oline can't run block."

Meanwhile, Zeke can't pass the eyeball test, and Dak is busy post game commending the oline for their pass blocking.

Odd how all of a sudden the oline can pass block great, but supposedly can't run block.

Also odd that teams supposedly keep "keying on Zeke" while Dak is posting 400 yard games. They sure must be scared of Zeke to prefer giving up all those yards to Dak.
