Anyone left thinks Zeke is the best back in the league?

So total rushing yards equals best running back and O line play only matters when Zeke has abad game, not other running backs. Got it. Typical.

BTW, did you notice how misused Barkley was in both games we played against the Giants. Shurmur makes Garrett look like Bellichick.
I'd counter with Zeke being misused. No screens (1 today)….no scheme creativity....we act like Zeke can't catch now that we have a pass happy offense. Shurmur may be bad, but he ain't bad as making JG look like Bellichick. JG made Gase and Williams look like Bellichick & Buddy Ryan.

Umm, no.

Scapegoat insinuates that people are blaming Zeke alone for all the team’s ills.
Maybe not or maybe so.....but he is the Headliner. We discussing him now. I'd rather be on the "Free Jarwin" campaign too, as for the offense.

Zeke and Barkley could both be used better but I would give the strong, very strong, advantage to Zeke. Zeke had plays he could have made in the past several games and didn’t make the right reads or have enough speed and burst to hit the holes he used to.

If you’ve been on fan forums for a long time it’s always this way. Fans will defend a player until the bitter end even when its past their time. Zeke is not that dynamic of a player any more and the quicker you just let that sink in the better off you’ll be. You’ve been through this with the Roy Williams safety play and the dez Bryant’s of the world. Just accept players fade. He’s not the best anymore.

Again he came into the day 6th in rushing. He had two tds today.

He’s also a big reason things open up in the passing game.

If zeke “lost it” then why have coordinators gone out of there way to try and stop him? Cause they know he can takeover a game.

If he continues to run like this, they wont be going out of their way for long. Anyone can see at this point, that Dak and the passing game is much better than Zeke.

The Dak-led offense is a new identity for us this season. I imagine teams would take their chances with Dak airing the ball out versus a ball-control offense that controls the TOP and limits turnovers.

Literally no one thinks Zeke is the best

Hilarious how just two weeks ago, anyone that said that Zeke wasnt the best RB in the NFL was called dumb and pathetic.

Yet here we are just two weeks later and what was obvious to some is now obvious to everyone.

Frankly, Zeke isnt even the top 10 in RB's in the NFL from where I am standing. Pollard is a better back than Zeke.

Wonderful. Let them continue to think that way.

I think he's the smart one. I also think he is the best all around back in the NFL when used right. His pass blocking is among the best I've ever seen from an elite back, if not the best

This, guy made a h--- of catch for the TD. Yes he is still top 3.

Is the best back in the nfl?

Anyone out there still thinks it was smart to pay him 15 million?
opponents tell you how great you are. Now I'm mad at Zekes weight going up and his speed dropping some, but he's still a great back. The opponents key on Zeke every game which helps Dak to pass for 400 yards. These are experienced coaches and players who watch film. They still focus more on Zeke than Dak. Daks been great this year., but lets see what happens if they devote the defense to stopping the pass for the whole game. That's never happened in a game Zekes played in.

It's like AB and Juju. Juju was on a historic pace in years 1 and 2 with AB. As soon as AB leaves and he gets the attention, his numbers drop even when Ben was playing. Zeke opens it up for the pass every week even week 1. In his entire career, he's never had a team ignore him to stop the pass.

Gurley contract looks bad
Bell contract looks bad
Zeke contract TBD but he hasn’t broken a long run in two years

signing running backs to big second deal just seems like a bad idea.

Zeke will continue to put up big stats because the Cowboys run the ball a lot, he gets 95% of the carries, and he plays behind a solid offensive line. People that don’t understand nuance will continue to point to his rushing yards as evidence of why he should be paid big money. You’ll never convince them otherwise.
the line is average this year and was worse last year.

Cooks shredded whatever we did. Made our guys look silly.

He’s just a better back.

zeke looked like a turd.
This is also Cooks first pro bowl season. Wait until next year when they have a whole season of game tape and devote the entire defense to stopping him.

By the way, Emmitt didn't have very many home run plays either.

If that makes you feel better than go ahead and think it.
