Twitter: Broaddus done as Cowboy employee

So that won't affect the quality of the pass defense?

I'm assuming you mean the pass offense.

It didn't to the point of being the reason for the Cowboys losing the game the way Mickey's lame excuses would try to have anyone believe, no.

Neither Fleming nor Brandon Knight played poorly in that game, certainly not to the point of being a Chaz Green level liability that they could be blamed for the loss.

Mickey tried to use them as the excuse for everything and he failed miserably. And once again played the part of the fool.

Mickey has the answers for everything. If you don't believe it then ask him.

Talkin Cowboys is a poorly named show without him. A 1/3 of the show is about the weather and he's the only one who used to try to stop that and get to actually talking Cowboys. Bill and Mickey get off track far too easy.

It's like listening to two elderly man slowly going senile and reminiscing about things that happened 20 years ago. 15 mins in and I'm still waiting to hear about the Giants D this week.

I'm starting to buy this Mickey thing now. What's interesting to me is his boss, Derek Eaglton, posted extremely positive tweets about him yesterday. But nothing from Mickey who is obviously a senior level reporter for them. More interesting to me is last week, Thursday or Friday I think it was, a caller on Talkin' Cowboys asked about Bryan...and Mickey responded sharply that you'll have to ask him...and then sharply repeated it...while the other hosts didn't say a word. Quite different than what The Break responded with when they were asked, they made sure everyone knew it was not health related and that it was personal and he's ok.

*EDIT*
Hah, what the hell do I know, just as I post this I see the tweet above saying:

"Just wanted to make something clear here. @Spags52 had nothing to do with me leaving the Cowboys. I enjoyed my time with him. He challenged me and I him. Nothing but respect there."

Did he say this on the Fan? Maybe he’s taking over for the Ben/Skin slot. He’d be a big draw

Yeah, maybe he's just looking for something in the area with more 'regular' work hours?

And maybe that might explain the sudden timing during the season as well?

He always seemed hard to get along with. Kind of obnoxious

That's funny, not ha ha funny, that many who have worked with him has said what a nice guy he is. I'm guessing that because he says things that you may not agree with that you now think of him as obnoxious.

Given his popularity, It's just very odd the Talkin Cowboys and/or Break shows wouldn't give him a sendoff type of show. That's what makes it look like something negative happened. If it was on good terms why wouldn't they do a show to say goodbye and thank you as it'd get good number of listeners I'm sure.

He didn't announce his separation from the Cowboys until after those podcasts had aired their shows yesterday. Maybe they will say something today about it. Be listening for it.

There can be several reasons for Broaddus to just walk in and announced as of today I quit.
